Reporting it to bug report is doing nothing . Can not lvl blacksmithing with out learning patterns you buy from vender . Can buy them just fine but can not LEARN them so stuck and can not lvl BS . So tried to put in a ticket so maybe a GM could learn it if I keep one in bags .

Wow, you really want to throw that at the people you’re asking help from?
Firstly, GM’s do not fix bugs, nor can they give you game hints. Submitting a bug report was the best first thing to do - it brings awareness to the dev/qa team of an issue. Thing you need to realise about this is that, if it is an issue, it’s fixed on their time, not ours. It takes time to investigate, hopefully replicate the bug, develop a solution (without breaking other things) and hot fix it.
It is very doubtful a GM can grant you a recipe learnt, even if it’s in the bag.
Now, the first thing I would do is do a full UI reset to eliminate a corrupt UI or addon that’s cause this. Give that a shot. I’d wager that’s the issue.

I’m going to ask the silly question, only because I have done this. When you try to learn it, do you get any red text, like “must be level X to learn” or something like that?
I have purchased recipes that require me to be a certain level or have unlocked a certain specialty.
Also, are ALL THE RECIPES you have now greeted out? If any are still green, you need to them a massive amount of times to get to the next level to learn things.
Again, I’m throwing this out because I’ve experienced it.
PS. Make sure you actually bought BS plans and not something else. Don’t ask me how I know.

Plenty of info out there how to level it. Some recipes require a level to use or reputation. Check some of the guids out there.
A gm will not be able to help with this info.

My blacksmithing is 515 pattern is 515 had to lvl from 510 to 515 using green in spell book now there is no green to get next 10 lvls . You have to buy pvp patterns from vender
What I get is,This spell in not available to you . Pattern is lvl 515 blacksmithing in 515 .
Just logged in got a lvl 510 pattern and got same thing , This spell in not available to you
Friend, please consider asking for help in the cata classic bug forum.
Failures to learn the series “bloodthirsty pyrium XYZ” is a known bug. You can find others discussing this in the appropriate forum. Next time perhaps please include what version of wow you’re playing (cata classic) and the specific item (bloodthirsty pyrium …) to help people understand your problem better.

Got it figured out can not learn older pvp patterns have to learn latest ones . Not sure why they are still on vender .
