So like alot of people I am in this weird limbo of should i level now or wait till prepatch. When i heard all the level changes I was like oh what better way to relearn the story. However I have the strongest itch to play wow and I dont want that to die down. Any advice of what to do? Cause I will admit i didnt get the chance to finish bfa so im behind on that story nor do I have all the allied races unlock but i figure i just wait till you know the changes came out.
I’m right there with you. I wish they’d release the prepatch already. I’d like to play the game but I’m done with the current expansion. Looking forward to leveling and doing the icecrown events for some catch up gear.
i think there was just a topic on this. if you want to level, do it now and continue to level in prepatch, i guess it depends how much ‘leveling’ you’re planning to do.
I’d just wait for pre-patch.
At this point, I would say go ahead and get to 120 on that character but wait to level any others if you were thinking of doing so. It might be a bit faster once the pre-patch happens in a few weeks but that’s still a bit away and if you want to play you should play.
With the xp buff you rocket up the levels right now.
If you want the Heart of Azeroth and Azerite Armor on alts, do it now. They get removed from the leveling experience and only available at level 50 post-patch.
I’m leveling my new main mostly through pvp. I hope to hit 120 around the time prepatch hits so I can use said main in the prepatch events.

I skipped over this expansion. At this point my subscription is only running for the sake of waiting until pre-patch and so I can test things on the PTR.
