Hey guys, just a quick question.
It appears they have nerf’d the XP gained from mob tagging and spamming dungeons with a higher level. I do have a level 60 and another account with a lvl 20 warrior.
Any idea/tips on how to boost my alt with a level 60 mage?

Use your mains gold to keep his armor/weapons ahead of his leveling curve. Buy low level consumables and you could even use some low level enchants.
Have you tested the mob tagging yourself? Are we sure that it’s nerfed? Perhaps there is a damage threshhold to get full XP?
I’ve noticed if I let my pet kill mobs without damaging them, I get no loot.
Thinking about it. I’m not even sure if I get xp. Going to have to check that out tonight.
I too have multiple accounts and I’ll do some testing on this. Kind of crappy if we can’t power level ourselves.
Sure are enough advertisements on YouTube offering powerleveling. So there must be some efficient way to do it.

quest level the normal way, or do twice as many dungeons?
This ‘nerf’ was in vanilla long before 1.12.

I had a mob I put a dot on, it was resisted, I did not notice as I was fighting another one, and I got no loot or xp for my pet killing it.
Yeah, i’ve tested it… tagged the mob let my 60 kill and i got like 2 xp it works based on how much damage dealt but even then it’s still not worth what you get.
I guess, just questing and when my alt needs upgrades/gear ill just run him through dungeons? seems to be no other way

Interesting. Yea maybe rested XP, financial support, and keeping him geared with dungeon runs is the best boosts we can give our alts.
Just level like an adult and stop looking for a quick fix! This isn’t retail Zoomer!
Depending on the alts / Class, go put +40 spell dmg on a skinning knife or firey, there’s your BOA. Rumsey rum helps too, but second time around is much easier. Doing a rogue and he has too many healing pots full 14 slot bags and weaps are normally kept up.
I was grouped with 2 people that were 10 lvls above me. We were just hanging out. I killed something my lvl and got 1xp
