Blizzard has said remix characters convert to retail characters when the event ends. 556 is that max ilvl you can upgrade gear to with bronze in the event, and they’ve said your characters keep everything they get during the event except for the account wide legendary cloak.
oh you mean after the event is over? I was wondering why my character still had bronze
can you link what exactly was said because there is no way you are keeping the exact gear
The characters convert to retail when WW releases. That ilvl isn’t that inflated. It’s not like people will be able to gear up to that then jump into keys in DF, they’re kept completely separate.
edit: it’s that gear minus all the gems and sockets, so it’s just a bunch of stats
While I can’t say for certain it is the best or fastest way, I normally dungeon spam BC dungeons with Chromie time. Not uncommon to find PvE twinks soloing the dungeon, and sometimes they’ll stick around and queue with whoever stays. Just don’t expect to actually participate in the dungeon that much when you come across one.
I mean…
If you want fast then wait for panda land remix. 10-70 all in pandaland at an accelerated rate with some of the easiest dungeons.
I would say WoD, but I think they nerfed that xp a while ago. It used to be the fastest, but anymore it’s all the same. Dungeon running is by far the fastest depending on your spec/class. As a heals/tank, very fast, as a dps not so much.
Questing wise, just choose Cata at Chromie and level in the old zones. They’re small and getting everywhere is quicker.
Personally, I just quest and level that way.
I know many people prefer to use dungeons, instead, though.
I honestly have no idea which is faster, I think it just depends on which method you prefer. Like, if you don’t like dungeons, it’ll probably take longer and feel worse for you. Same with leveling.
It’s all about preferences.
If you want to play thru the game with alts (like I do) this is my formula for leveling. It’s quick, fun, and you come out of it with about 15-20k gold.
Level — Where
20 — Legion
30 — MoP or WoD (you learn slow flying)
40 — WoD or BfA. (You learn fast flying)
50 — WoD or BfA
60 — Dragonflight
I also make sure they have herbalism & mining, which boosts experience & gold
You can dragonride at level 10 in the remix timerunning event.
Dragonriding makes me physically sick; so, its good ole slow flying for me.
You can also slow flying at level 10 for toons that doing them.
But is that true?
If you read the blue post it says:
“All Remix characters created during the event will convert to a standard character to play within modern World of Warcraft at the end of the event.”
I read that to mean, once the event finishes, they are turned into ‘standard’ characters and you can then play them in retail WoW; "at the end of the event’ seems pretty clear.
Although they mention TWW earlier in the para, that could simply be a little promo mention of the next expac. Im not sure when 10.2.7 launches, but on the roadmap it seems to be before the beta, which is well before TWW starts.
Why not just play during Warthin and ReMoP?
did you play remix on the PTR?
On the PTR they converted right away and lost all the gear they had so I am not sure where this guy is getting his info but it doesn’t appear correct
I wouldn’t really care one’s opinion about ReMoP or Warthin if their name is Doodoobutter honestly.
good point
I’ve chosen Pandaren DK for ReMoP and Warthin.
Get two friends with geared 70’s, summon alt to brackenhide or nohkud. Fly over to either elite zone. 3.5 hours later 70. Trade off with friends to do this. Solo Google speed leveling wow on YouTube. There are several very detailed videos. The good ones include unlocking dal and gar hs
