I am at lvl 50 Outland blacksmithing. The only thing that I have left that I can make, from the trainer, is the Fel Iron Breastplate. It is a 1 up green arrow to level up with the item. What the heck am I supposed to do now? There is no way that I’m going to get to level 300 that way, or even level 75. Help? Wowhead was no help at all.
An assortment of Plans are sold by vendors around Outland that may help, the rest are all either random drops or rep locked.
Make sure in your Blacksmithing you can see your unlearned Plans and see which ones are still orange or yellow skill and go after them.
Edit: You will probably need to find Rare level items to get to 65 which is what you need to craft most Epic level Plans.

I highly recommend the wow-professions guide for older content crafting - i’ve found its suggestions are usually pretty good and it tries not to be too expensive.

You can get skillups from level 50-60 using the Adamantite weightstone recipe sold by the Cenarion Expedition vendors. You can get Cenarion Expedition rep by questing in Zangarmarsh, collecting and turning in Unidentified Plant Parts from creatures across the zone, or more quickly by running the Steam Vaults or Slave Pens dungeons.
From 60-75, you’ll need Felsteel Gloves, the pattern for which drops off trash mobs in Auchenai Crypts dungeon, or you’ll need to pick either the aldor or the scryers in Shattrath and level rep with them to unlock their crafting recipes.
