Leveling 110-120

I made a Warrior and i’m in the process of leveling it, but i honestly hate questing. Are there any other efficient ways to leveling besides questing for hours?

fastest way from 110-120 is island expeditions… and you thought you hated questing…

On Tuesday Timewalking starts and you can just spam TW dungeons for like 250-300k xp each.

It’s the fastest xp p/h if your tanking with insta-ques.

Islands / PvP / Dungeons / Nothing but mining nodes / Farm those boars / Wait for timewalking / Invasions or whatever they call them, yes these are quests, but there are only 6-8 quests with a good chunk of XP.
And make sure your toons stays rested.

If your not in a hurry just log daily when the assault is up and do that. It’s nearly a lvl if your rested.

Doing all the battle pet quests daily will lvl you 1 lvl also. Plus mining and herbing helps as well I did it that way on 3 of my now 120’s. Plus exploring helps as well.

If you don’t mind sitting in one spot, you can level some battle pets at Falconhurst in Drustvar- there’s so many wild battle pets at the coast in that town that you never run out… so lots of exp just sitting there.

Battlegrounds with “Defending Champion” and “Returning Champion” trinkets, both give 50% each extra experience gained per bg, so 100% extra if you have both, very decent amount of XP if you win!

I’ve leveled a bunch of alts using Assaults (5 world quest plus a finisher each time, about once a day). But I have NEVER gotten “nearly a level” from one. That is an exaggeration.

I am rested. I have the max heirloom bonus (55%). I have the XP bonus from the previous day’s assault. I have the Darkmoon Faire bonus this week. With all that, I got 52% (of a level) yesterday on all 3 toons. Without DMF it’s around 45% of a level. I’ve tracked it on a spreadsheet, daily, for many characters.

But it’s still good XP: half a level in 15 minutes, once a day.

I also suggest trying BGs. Horde queue times are 5 minutes 111-120. Very fast queues, and way more fun that wasting time questing.

Is it an alt?

If so, use your main to purchase Draught of the 10 lands to get the xp boost.

You could also turn on warmode for an added boost. Think it is 10%, but alliance get 30%.

Are you doing all 6 of the quests or just the 4 required to finish the assault? I could have sworn I go more than half.

Buy a Freehold boost for 200-300k. But on a serious note, spamming timewalking is by far the fastest way to get to 120, if it isn’t a timewalking week, I’d stick to just questing and doing invasions. Islands are a decent way of leveling aswell.

I wish - while it is possible to get close to a level if one has every XP buff AND all five quests award bonus XP, they typically have a mix of rewards with a lot of gold, AP, and war resources, and as such on a good day, getting even half a level with full XP bonuses is a challenge.

I second Timewalking as a good source of XP (at least Wrath, would NOT recommend BC, have not done the others recently - will see how Cata goes this week).

Also with flying, treasures (fixed ones tied to zone achievements) and gathering are decent if slower XP, and require very little in the way of in-game attention while not suffering from the inverted power curve that makes the later levels a slog.

Wild pet battles and gathering is another viable option.

i leveled through islands and bgs on my rogue, it was fast but i couldnt even do world quests when i hit 120

gearing up from 280 with no WQs is a chore itself, unless you have someone to run you through mythics

Each Archaeology dig site gives 5.5k per cast (in full heirlooms).

I pet battle from 110 to 120 but if you’re Alliance it really behooves you to do Drustvar and Voldune. Blizzard pretty much screwed you guys when it comes to flight paths for these two zones.

I’m trying that with my next alt. When I was getting Fossils for the DMF quest I did a double check on how much exp I was getting per dig site.

Unfortunately, no. Most efficient is via questing, but you can also do other stuff like resource gathering, pet battles, etc if you want to take a break from it. Also helps to do zones you may otherwise usually avoid to not get bored from burnout.

Island expeditions, dungeon queue, pvp bgs.
