Multiple tickets, responded by multiple GM’s (following the same policies) resulting in the same conclusion, plus a warning not to submit more tickets on the matter, is as final as it gets.
Nobody on the forum is able to override that.
My game time ran out meaning the level cap is 20. I waited for my game time to run out before turning on xp. I should have never leveled past level 20 with no game time. After looking a many different forums this happen to a few other people after a battleground they leveled up after subscription just ended.
Typically, there’s a little bit of a grace period when your game time expires. This allows you to continue playing uninterrupted while your next subscription billing cycle or game time purchase processes. That counts as ‘active game time’.
So, while your game time may have technically expired, you were still able to log in and play normally. This isn’t an example of a bug or a mistake on Blizzard’s part. You logged in, intentionally enabled XP gains and subsequently earned a level. That is the game working exactly as intended.
If that were something they’d been able to verify, I suspect they’ve have helped you the first time you asked. Since they didn’t, that either means that they weren’t able to verify the order of events as you outlined them, or policy has become more strict for them and they’re no longer able to do it under those circumstances.
Either way, if you’ve been told no multiple times, you’re best off giving up. If you keep pushing, there’s a chance they’ll restrict your account in order to encourage you to stop making the same request over and over after they’ve already answered it.
As I understand, that’s rare, but the line is there and possible to cross, so please don’t take it too far.
So can you explain why I didn’t level up the first bg and the xp bar stayed the same? and then I just instantly level after my 2nd bg?
I can give you my theory.
You didn’t earn enough XP to level. No telling why your XP bar didn’t update. If anything in your story is a bug, it is this.
This battleground put you over the threshold for level 21. Ding. Gratz.
the bar was completely filled with green. it looked like banked xp. if that was the case I would of leveled the first bg.
Could very well have been a UI issue. Either way. You turned on your XP. You did BGs. You leveled. If you were the level you wanted to be at you shouldn’t have touched the experience fellow.
Blizzard should not be faulted for your mistakes.
Also, just because. Screenshots mean exactly diddly squat whether they were from yesterday or a decade ago. Easily manipulated.

There is often a small grace period when game time ends, it’s been around for ages. I’m willing to bet you were in this grace period.
The fact of the matter is you never should have re-enabled XP gains if you didn’t want to gain XP. Seems like common sense to me.
If that was true why didn’t level the first bg with xp bar full with banked xp? yea I’m willing to bet your going to answer another post or message by assuming and without fact checking.
It doesn’t matter what we say, the answer from the GMs been “No”. No amount of posting here will change that. No amount of fighting with folks will get what you want. No amount of yelling at Blizzard will get you what you want. The answer is no, and it’ll remain at no. No one is going to do what you want because you’ll be a pain to them.
No one here would be able to tell you. I have doubts that even an SFA would be able to look and figure out exactly why.
The people who possibly could? GM’s. You’ve tried that avenue, and they’ve repeatedly told you they are not able to help you. If you’ve reached the point where they are telling you that you may have an account action against you for putting in another ticket on the subject, it’s time to let it go.
If you think there is a bug in play, make a post in the Bug Report Forum so the QA team can look into it. It’s probably not going to do anything for your situation, but it couldn’t hurt.
Please, for the love of all that is holy, don’t try this. With a great deal of their teams working from home, the Billing and Tech Support lines (that couldn’t help anyways) are maybe open for a collective 12 hours a week. There are some issues that other players really need to get through to speak with someone about, and calling so you can yell at a poor phone rep isn’t going to change anything.
And you wouldn’t have. If you hadn’t turned the experience back on. I am sorry you’re in this endless loop, but especially with the remodeled leveling, if people can level to max as quickly as they can, you can level again to 20. And you can leave the experience off as soon as you ding.
