Leveled my first worgen - highly recommend

Ok, for many of you this is not news, you can just click back in your browser now
With the anniversary event i decided to level a worgen and OMG was that great storytelling.
this was my first alliance character (second if you count one week as a dwarf back in vanilla)
I have leveled every other horde race, outside of the allied ones, and I think the worgen experience tops them all.
I highly recommend playing one at least through the gilneas story.
Whatever developer wrote that story should be working on current content
I felt really invested in what was happening, quests flowed nicely

Wish I would have done that sooner

Although I don’t intend to be a Worgen I did get /lick by one.

Better get vaccinated!

Worgen are probably my least favorite non-allied Alliance race (outside of Genn), but their starting zone is excellent.

Good choice! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I really feel like playing both factions gives you a full appreciation of the whole game, so I hope you enjoy playing through the rest of the zones.

I can’t get past the hunch and the Popeye arms. :frowning:

But they are an interesting race regardless.

It doesn’t work on Worgens.

I truly do love the Worgen storyline, it really had me invested as a player. I also wish that were able to use Gilneas as a city it’s such a cool looking city!

Play the horde Silverpine Forest questline if you haven’t already, it wraps up the horde’s side of Gilneas V Forsaken.

Play through the starting zone? For sure.
Then delete that fleabag and pick a real race!

well I already have all the horde races at max

I just find it interesting that we get orgrimmar and thunder bluff that literally nobody visits and they get ironforge and stormwind two of the best areas in the entire game
