I got a consistent group we are all about to hit level 15. We were considering the option of grinding dungeons to level 60. Were in no rush to level. We just hate questing. What do you think?
Personally i think that defeats the purpose of classic. But i also am of the mind that people should enjoy things the way they want to enjoy things.
You can do it, and have a comparable leveling speed to questing, but you’ll be shooting yourself in the foot if you ask me.
No quest money for mounts/skills
Rely entirely on dungeon drops to gear up
No reputations…this is a big one as low level quests give reduced rep once you out level them.
I think if I raced to the level cap, I would soon regret it. The Classic experience is something many of us wished for. I plan to inhale it all slowly, warts and all.
Then when I finally get to 60, it’s going to be attunementpalooza.
You’ll need the quests for rep and attunement for end game content…
That sounds like a rather boring way to level, especially if you aren’t in a rush. For me once I get to 60 that’ll be the beginning of the end, the process of getting to 60 is the fun part lol. Would rather not grind dungeons over and over as the only way of doing it, sounds sort of like end game raiding, which I don’t enjoy.
But if you find it enjoyable then sure, why not.
You could, but it would be incredibly boring and you’d have to go BACK anyway and do a lot of the class-specific quests and quest lines.
I think it would be a damn shame honestly.
You would be geared well and proper trained in focusing kill order and managing threat (this seems to be lacking with people I keep playing with). But you will miss a TON of rep and what makes WoW classic great…the world.
