I wanted to report a bug I just encountered across five battlegrounds. On my level 22 warlock I level sync’d down to 10-19 bracket with a friend and found I had lost the ability to mount.
I kept getting an error message that read “You need apprentice riding” but I had already trained the next level of riding.
This only seems to occur when level syncing in battlegrounds
Can confirm this is an issue. Happened to myself and 2 of my friends queued up with a level 10 in bg.
Sounds intended. You sync’d into a bracket where players don’t have that ability.
level 10 is when mounts are unlocked
You get mounts at level 10 now. There are no brackets without mounts.
This has happened to me as well. My level 50 getting synced to level 19 looses the ability to mount (old mount level was 20) and getting synced to level 39 I only have a 60% speed boost when being in that level range you should have a 100% speed boost (old fast riding was level 40)
Battlegrounds seem to be using the old leveling system to determine mount speed/ability to mount only in the case of scaling down to match your party.
