Apologies if this is found elsewhere, but I am trying to avoid pretty much all information so i can find out when the game goes live. Except for this one thing.
With the level cap going back to 60, what lvl raid will MC be? How will the old raids be done? I don’t see a lvl 20 running MC, but I could be wrong I guess.
I believe the previous expansions have a cap of level 50, once you exit “Chromie Time.” Only SL content should scale from 50 to 60. So at 60, you should still be able to easily solo older content.
I’m not sure as to what level (I think I read that all raids Vanilla-Legion will be level 40, and BFA ones will be level 50) but you’ll be able to able to solo up to Legion content surely.

I thought ALL old content was scaling exactly the same…but it isnt.
Classic is up to level 30…BFA is up to level 50…and everything else is in between.
So you’ll still need to be hopped up to run the most recent content solo out of Chromie Time.
I think they thought it was cool to do it this way, but all they did was make another big squish inevitable at some point.
Had it ALL be leveled to 50…classic all up thru Legion…then BFA could have been shuffled into the same range and then shadlowlands when its old content…and so on.
As it stands it appears we’re just going to level to 60…then 70…80…etc etc. until another major squish.
Mists of pandaria…obviously level 90 max currently…shows 35 max on the map out of Chromie time…so assume maybe level 45 or higher to run raids solo Id think

So I just took a level 43 druid into Terrace of Endless Spring.
The trash around the trio there says level 36…so I proceeded to attack.
Could just be needing the numbers fixed…but i got my druid rump handed to me on a plate. Didnt even move his health bar and Im down 30% from a couple shots.
either not balanced yet…which is likely…or we’re going to have to be 15 levels over the content…which aint easy when MoP is 35 and max before SL’s is 50…ie stuff you CAN solo now might not be soloed when prepatch hits…which is going to tick off a BUNCH of pet and mog farmers.
They should have done it like their page SOUNDED like it was being done…all old content shuffled back so out of Chromie time we’d be level 50 and everything else scaled down to 35.
