Level Requirements for Dungeons

What level do you have to be to do Legion Dungeons? Just looking for Normal Dungeons. Before the Level Squish, there were 4 (like Vault of the Warden) that required 110. Are those now 45?

You can que up for the following dungeons at level 10, after taking Legion as your leveling experience @ Chromie:
Assualt on Violet Hold
Black Rook Hold
Darkheart Thicket
Eye of Azshara
Halls of Valor
Maw of Souls
Neltharion’s Lair
Vault of the Wardens

Legion is probably the best one, even better than default (BFA)

What if I took WoD? Can I have a high level player run my alts through the Legion dungeons so I can finish up the 8 dungeons for my Class Hall set pants?

Right at level 10. If you roll a tank, your butt won’t even have a taunt yet xD.

I think the game will put that higher level person in same bracket, and you will not really get anymore benefit than if someone of your own level joined you

I can only que for half of those

yes im certain… the normal versions are toned down to fit levels 10-50 thanks to shadowlands pre-patch

Yeah they are. Having a higher level person doesn’t matter or impact the speed of completing a dungeon.

It definitely can impact dungeons I’d argue, simply by having access to a much stronger toolkit.

I was able to solo these @120. Am I no longer able to since they scale?

I honestly haven’t noticed. Granted I’ve done maybe 6 so far, but the completion of the dungeons hadn’t felt different between their comps I’ve been running with or varying levels.

I haven’t tested this, but I would assume you can run these outside of Chromies time once you hit 50. You just have to request to be brought back to the current timeline.

Really depends on your comps and the dungeon, for example warlocks a higher level having much stronger burst AOE, and AOE stuns can have a very dramatic affect on dungeons like freehold. In several recent expansions there are a large number of huge sets of mobs, classes get their AOE much later, so it causes large packs to be more difficult then they would be with somebody who has their AOE burst capability.

I’ve noticed it somewhat while farming BiS slot pieces, since this toon is twinked i naturally pick up on the weird low level discrepancies. It’s not a huge problem, but it could be if your entire group is pure level 10s with little to no aoe or cc potential.

This sounds absolutely chaotic. I love it.

You make a fair point!

hah thanks, I hopefully some minor adjustments to when you get your aoe abilities is made, just to atleast bump them a little earlier, especially for tanks, because aggro sometimes is just everywhere

What I had been doing before the level squish was level up classes I hated to play and hadn’t finished the Class Hall sets on. I was doing this on an RAF account to give my main account extra xp whilst leveling. So when they got to 110, I could take a 120 and run them through the Legion dungeons and get the pants and have those items in my mog sets. Is this still doable and if I don’t do it in Chromie-time do I have to wait to do these when my RAF toons are the appropriate level after squish? (So Vault would then be level 45.)

If you don’t party sync a level 50 capped person can still run you through dungeons no problem.

If you’re queueing with someone who’s, like, 45, though, fights will actually take longer.

Okay. So I tried it out. Oddly enough, when I summoned my RAF my high level character was phased out. I entered the dungeon on my main and my RAF entered after. The mobs all showed level 28 or 29 (same as my RAF), but on my main they showed 45. But, I was able to get into Vault of the Wardens on both accounts.
