Level Boosted Character and Crafting?

If I level boost a character, does it get a boost to crafting professions?

If not, how does crafting work with boosted characters?

1. Can I just immediately level up crafting in the War Within content, while ignoring everything from prior content;or

2. Do I have to max out 300 crafting in the classic content first?

Yes, but it will only be TWW crafting.

i boosted a guy last week. you get nothing levelled. you have to go train for what you want to level. you start at zero. you train for each expansion. they are not linked to previous ones.

Ok, so I start at exactly the same TWW crafting as everyone else who starts TWW and can level crafting the same way there?

You will be given the opportunity at the trainer to train profession level 1 and then TWW crafting.
It is that simple

Nope. They haven’t done this since Warlords, iirc.
