I pre ordered Midnight, and boosted one of my alts to 80. I could not start the War Within campaign on her, I used the teleport scroll, but Jaina was not there. I tried to go back to Stormwind and teleport from there (the boost dropped me in Dornogal). But nothing. So I abandoned the quest, this destroyed the scroll, and I can’t find how to get the quest back, it’s not listed in any of the journals.

I am having basically the same problem with being unable to start the campaign on a boosted level 80 Horde character. Thrall and all the usual npcs were not there is Silithus when I used the teleportation scroll. I tried phasing Silithus back and forth, I’ve tried using my hearthstone and then using the teleportation scroll again, and I’ve tried turning my computer off, but nothing seems to work. I haven’t deleted the “The War Within” quest however.
It might be worth noting that when I first boosted the character yesterday, the only visible npc was Magni Bronzebeard. When I checked again today, there are now a variety of npcs visible including a group of Cenarion Circle Druids and Earthen Ring Shamans, none of which were there yesterday.
I hope this can be fixed soon because I was really looking forward to leveling through the campaign again (without having to do any low-level content). I also hope that there can be a way to reacquire the quest, for those who may have deleted it.
I have a friend who is having a similar issue. He just bought the epic edition of the war within to boost a Demon Hunter for the Horde. It seems the game did not give him any indication of picking up the quest to begin the war within campaign. the biggest issue for him however is he does not have access to any form of flying in the war within zones. he seems to have access to skyriding in orgrimmar however. We are under the impression he should have gotten skyriding automatically and that it was an account wide feature where you unlock it once and its unlocked on the account as a whole so long as you meet level requirements. He already had prior characters with skyriding as well so its odd that he doesnt have access to that nor access to the war within campaign story. As far as I know he never received any scroll or anything either and we haven’t attempted to travel to silithus manually yet but going back to orgrimmar doesn’t result in anything popping up either so far.
