Lmao, garmuck the troll ignoring people posting reasonable statements. Why am I not surprised?

Basin is best questing zone.

Was getting like 750k/XP an hour there on my 2nd 80.

Rdf was the only reason? You need better friends. Rdf was the least appealing thing about wotlk. Zones were better, was better, story was omg awesome!!! The journey and endgame was incredibly fun when mixed with a dungeon run. Rdf was a lot of miserynas it put bottom feeders into the system that were terrible a the game. So many pointless wipes because so many dps wanted to be an ultra eleets or tanks not wearing tank gear or healers acting like they were dps. Ugh shudder the thought of how terrible rdf was. We obviously remember two very different expansions.

Great so farm mops, but don’t complain that you can’t quest there as quest don’t start there until 77 and not everyone is playing a super eleet heroic class. Think beyond your little bubble. The zones and quest are designed with the intent that every class can do the zone.

Just wanted to point out to the trolls that keep mentioning not understanding questing, the reason I wound up in SB. My warrior does the cooking and fishing dailies and was literally sent to SB to do the fishing quest. So I don’t know what to tell you. I was sent to quest in a zone that I am apparently too low a level to quest in where I can kill everything. That’s not on me.

My original question stands and it makes sense that I asked it unless you are a troll or a white knight. The answer is apparently that I should just grind on my dk in SB and take my warrior back to HF to grind mass mobs unless doing the fishing quest. Not that difficult. This thread was a question about efficiency.

I’ve already done all of the quests in original and am not in sightseeing mode for sights I’ve already seen. I am looking for the most XP I can get at a time, while maximizing gold profit for my efforts. That is not always questing.

That said, my priest and hunter will probably quest as time permits. Thank you to all the non trolls who took the time to actually answer questions. Have fun.

Coldarra is actually probably your best exp per hour for questing on dk or warrior

You can both get quests and aoe down all the mobs, my dk was hitting 800-1mill exp per hour in Coldarra, you can then round it out with a 10 min nexus run for like 200k+ exp (once you have the 3 quests) and get a couple of tank items to help you pull more later on.

SB is also very good for questing because you can get kill 20 mob quests (at 76) and clear them in 2 pulls (mobs too spread to pull more than 10 at a time).

Basically your choices are turbo questing (where you grab all the quests and then pull everything in the area quest mob or not and aoe them all down) or grinding, turbo questing is usually faster because your getting quest exp in addition to grind exp and zones are pretty small in wrath so your not moving too far.

Thank you. I will check that out. I was at Coldarra, but don’t really like that area and will not do Nexus. It is my least favorite in the entire game’s history. There is good farming in Coldarra though, so it might be worth it or at least on my warrior to go farm.quest in HF and dragonblight.

I love how this was a cleverly disguised RDF post. I think you’re right, it’s time to quit.

Nexus isnt a fun dungeon but the quest rewards can be used pretty much till 80 so a quest run is usually worth it.

Overall the big 2 dungeons for tank gear are Nexus and Gundrak (1 ring from quest and 1 from boss that you can use as prebis to save heroic runs of stuff like oculus).

There is a neck in Zul’Drak as well that also functions as prebis tank neck (technically there is an emblem one thats slightly better but if you need to focus emblems elsewhere its worth it).

Generally I would also recommend checking your prebis lists for rep gear (as you need friendly to buy the tabard which requires questing) so if you have rep requirements you should be pushing those areas (dragonblight for tank DK boots for instance).

This thread has nothing to do with rdf. It is literally about the best place to quest and farm mobs. You need to log off and learn to read. RIF.

Yeah guys. You should carefully read what Randalflag actually wrote.

Interesting

I skipped the basin and went to icecrown cause i was 79 by basin.

You sound far too intelligent to play this game.

Are Randal and Garmuck not the same person? It seems like they are.

Like Sauron, Garmuck goes many names.

LOL, I don’t know Garmuck and we are most definitely not the same person. Are you and I the same person? I guess you don’t like people that have different opinions than you. Why even post in a thread where you hate everyone unlike you?

cant you just post in another rdf thread? i know they are a little hard to find but, i think you could locate one.

I could if I were making a post about rdf, which I am not and did not. You idiots have mentioned that more than anyone else in the thread. If you are going to troll, at least try harder.
