Hello I’ve encountered several bugs with the level 70 boost for retail wow, and I am posting this for the record that I too, am encountering these bugs.
The first of which is my evoker is missing his cape/back and 2nd trinket.
The second is the renown is locked, I cannot buy any renown items as they’re all stating I am not at a certain renown even though the renown menu shows I am at renown 20.
I have not yet submitted a ticket, as most who post on this forum respond with the GM’s stating they cannot do anything.
Please Blizzard, fix this if you would.

Confirmed bug. But no word on a fix sadly. Was literally told by a GM to come here.
Submit a Bug report in game please so we get a faster fix. The more bug reports they get the higher of a priority it becomes. If you submitted a CS ticket though a CS GM cant help you. This is a Dev problem. So Submit a bug report to the Devs. See below

Just to add further record, Some of the quests are bugged, such as the orientation quest requiring me to finish the leveling quests.
Examples being: The Marukaai orientation and the Dragonscale Expedition orientation both requiring me to finish the leveling quests.
Hmmm. I wonder. Does it persist after gaining a renown level?

Yes. Multiple threads in here on it. One person went to 22 with no change. I advanced all to 21. No change
It must be vendor related because I can to ALL the quest in the Faction hubs that open at 0-20 but the vendors wont let me buy

I can confirm that you doesn’t unlock it by leveling the reputation! Tried that yesterday without success! 
Atm is the character useless!

Agree. My whole reason using the boost was to give myself the 20 renown. But nope

I did it because I wanted a max level pally. And ret isn’t fun to level. Lol.

Just wanted to add to this. My 70 boost was missing gear pieces and still cannot access any renown rewards

I am also adding my report after boosting a guardian druid.
- Missing items. Should be an easy fix as I had to make a ticket with item recovery to get those back. I was missing the “Springrain Cuffs”, “Springrain Cord”, and “Springrain Pauldrons”
- Dragonflight normal reputations, while you can still gain rep, they do not show up in the character info sheet > reputation
2a) Not all renown will also show up. Currently only Dragonscale Expedition, Iskaara Tuuskarr, and Valdrakken Accord will show up in my reputation window. Meanwhile I see them clearly in the Dragon Isles Summary
- Cannot purchase any renown unlocked items, even though I have the resources and the renown lvl. System says its locked.
- I am not getting “Word of a Worthy Ally” bonuses for my other characters.
The lvl 70 boosted system is heavily broken. I advise anyone reading this to NOT USE YOUR TOKEN if you have one. It is terribly bugged and time will only tell if it will be fixed.
I don’t even want to play on my boosted character until these bugs are resolved honestly.

Bumping this because still an issue. Can’t access renown rewards and I was missing pieces of gear (that part doesn’t matter anymore as I have replaced said gear slots)
it appears i have a bug that erased/skipped all my questline for the main Dragon Flight campaign after a lvl 70 boost, on different character, i have made multiple attempts to reach out on this matter, but sadly tickets aren’t helping, it’s sad to read that there is more then one bug still happening and still no fix, buyers beware of this free 70 Boost, it will erase your future progression from completing the lore master achievement that is also connected to the pathfinder for dragonflight, hope any of you have a solution. Side Note: NPCS are bugged and don’t hand out quest anymore on your non boosted 70 characters to finish the main story or side quest.
