Level 60+ stuck doing the shadowlands campaign?

I wanted to get some alts farming mounts I don’t have in korthia, but no one offers the skip? Am I stuck doing the campaign to unlock korthia?

this didn’t help at all…my alt still has no option to skip the shadowlands campaign. She’s level 63 and I had started the threads of fate leveling on her but opted to finish leveling her via the primalist invasions in the pre-patch.

bro this makes NO sense. I’m taking my level 65 hunter through shadowlands right now to try to farm hopecrusher (rare spawn in revendreth).

I CANNOT choose a covenant because im locked into the campaign.

OK, I’m an idiot. I had a quest sending me to Bastion, I thought it was the start of the campaign but it was for me to join the Kyrian on my alt who had started threads of fate before dragonflight. After joining the kyrian the korthia skip became available from bolvar. Still really sucks for new toons but at least I got this one figured out.

You chose the covenant at the end of the campaign.

yeah thats the part I hate. with threads I could choose it right away.

I think they removed threads of fate because if you chose that you’re going to have grind side quests and for leveling the shadowlands campaign is actually good an linear

  • Removed the ability for players who have not started Threads of Fate to access the system.

    • Developers’ notes: The goal with Threads of Fate was to help alleviate the linear path of Shadowlands for alts as it was the only way for players to level from 50 to 60. Now that Shadowlands has been moved into Chromie time and Chromie Time’s level cap has been increased to 60, players have a multitude of methods to reach level 60. Players currently in Threads of fate can continue through it, but the option will not be available for any new characters.

    • We do not have plans to do similar removals with Dragonflight’s Adventure Mode in future expansions. Threads of Fate is a choice to use in Shadowlands and irreversibly changes a player’s character once it is chosen. It previously created two different experiences of Shadowlands, which would double to four with both of the level up and Threads of Fate being accessible within Chromie time. Adventure Mode in Dragonflight is an overlay to the level up experience and is always on once it is earned regardless of decisions the player makes.

I just wish they would give any character that is level 60+ the option to skip the campaign and immediately join a covenant. There are as far as I’m aware no other mounts in the game that are locked behind having to complete the story just to be able to farm the rares that drop them.
