Level 60 Boost

Blizzard needs to add 60 boosts when they inevitably add paid transfers and cosmetic changes in-game. No troll – I don’t care what the cost is, I and many others would purchase several 60s.

I want classic gameplay, not BFA, but leveling is boring af and I already leveled the only class that can easily avoid quests altogether.

Edit: for context, I have 20 days played on classic already so this isn’t coming from place of a casual not having the time. I just don’t like questing.

Your boosts are on retail. They have no place here on Classic.

… What?

That’s the best part of classic.

Why on earth would they offer 60 boosts? You’re in the wrong game friend. Retail is thattaway. :point_right:

(FYI: I could post on my classic toon, as I’ve been doing for awhile, but decided to just go with my normal forum character for convenience.)

it’s the worst part of classic for me. I only like playing battlegrounds and I am just letting blizzard know I would purchase level 60s for phase 3.

Fair enough … but, BG’s aren’t even a thing yet and won’t be for a hot minute.

I realize not everyone can enjoy the leveling experience, it’d be asinine to assume such; however, I feel adding a boost system to classic would be extremely counterproductive to what they’re seeking to accomplish.

Either way, I realize you’re being serious and courteous in your request so I’ll respect it and try not to come across as rude. I respectfully disagree. I think it’d take away more than it’d provide. :man_shrugging:

Got to agree with others. Paid character boosts are not in the spirit of vanilla wow.

You know what? They should just add raid gear to a cash shop too. I have 15 days played on my main so this isn’t coming from a place of a casual I just don’t like raiding.

Sadly I can see it happening when Naxx hits or shortly after.

Hopefully it doesn’t include gear, riding skills, mount, bags, professions… all the extras the first boost had.

It doesn’t fit with the philosophy of Classic so I don’t agree with any boosts.

Everything you do is meant to have meaning, it’s not supposed to be easy or quick, and that includes your character choice.
Being able to boost characters (and does that come with a base ilvl?) takes away the meaningful nature of choosing a character and getting it to max level.

unironically i would purchase the gear, as I’m sure others would too. so if blizz is looking for revenue streams. I don’t like raiding either, MC is mind numbing, but thought it would be too much to mention initially.

I do wonder if some sort of compromise can be reached because frankly both sides do have a case.

There’s no denying character boosts kill the levelling experience, or that levelling in Classic is a real grind, not always pleasant.

Levelling isn’t fun to everyone, and frankly beyond the first one can get quite tedious.

Maybe accelerates xp for those who have maxed out one character the ‘correct’ way?

Or simply leave it as picking the option will cause less people to quit playing.

So you found your way to 60 by skipping half the game (quests) and want Blizzard to allow insta-60 boosts (something I hadn’t seen at all in Vanilla, TBC or WotLK, by the way) because you find the game boring?

What?

So you hate quests and hate raiding. The only things left are PvP (other games do it better) or… what, exactly? Why do you play Classic at all? Dungeons get old after the 10th run so that can’t be it.

Your sense of entitlement does NOT constitute guidelines as to what should or should not be added.

Why stop there? might as well add everything to a cash shop! screw working for anything!

I’m not asking for it for free, I said I would pay for it. That’s not entitlement.
