I just leveled a toon using Warlords of Draenor, and once level 50 was reached I started Shadowlands.
My wife got into pet collection, and as a warlock I decided to piggyback on the pet hunting concept going after the demon goat.
The real question is: how do I get to Nazmir, to get the first clue? The NPC that gives the quest to begin BfA can’t be found, Chromie doesn’t want to talk to me (i.g., no timeline to be selected), leaving me with no plan B.
Any ideas?
You have already completed the starting quests for BFA. You are a little ways into it and will need to complete this quest to move on further.
You pick it up from Halford Wyrmbane on the boat in Boralus.

That quest will allow you to pick Nazmir as your Foothold so that you can get to that zone.
You will also need to get your Heart of Azeroth from Magni. You start that quest chain from the Earthen Guardian in Boralus. He is standing down from the Inn.

I am not sure what kind of wizardry allows you to be so precise, but thank you. As soon as I have a chance to check if the quest givers are up and proceed with those, I’ll be back here for an update.

Vanessë will need to pick up Tides of War from the Hero’s Herald in Stormwind Trade District.
That will get her started on the opening quest chain for BFA zones. The earlier remarks still hold true and that she will need to pick Nazmir as her first Foothold. Also, it is best to go ahead and grab the Heart of Azeroth quest from the Earthen Guardian in Boralus.
