Hey guys, quick Q - is there anything I can spend honor on currently? I see the BG vendors but they don’t sell anything as they haven’t released them yet. thanks.
There will never be anything to spend honor on. You do not spend honor.
Unless they release separate BC realms.
Based on your rank, you can buy things (for money) from the vendor in the Valley of Spirits in Orgrimmar. Or in Old Town of Stormwind, if you’re Alliance.

Honor isn’t spent in classic. Honor is gained to give you a ranking each week. The better your honor ranking the higher you will rank. You purchase items based on the rank you’ve obtained with gold.

Just go to the capital city and find your honor vendor. It will show what you can buy and what rank you need.
Also there will be an ‘officers’ area that you need officer rank (rank 6?) to enter, and more stuff there to buy.
You should be able to get your PvP trinket and maybe a cloak depending on your level.
Thanks for the question OP, I noobishly wondered the same myself. So if I were to say do battlegrounds on this toon, I could also gain honor and go up levels just as a 60 does?
Or try to pvp in the open world. Im lvl 37 and a sergeant
I’m on a pve server. There is a little world pvp but not as much obviously as a pvp server.
You could go up ranks to a point, but the largest amount of honor from Battlegrounds is from the For Great Honor quest, which requires turning in Marks of Honor from all three Battlegrounds simultaneously–and that’s only possible if you’re high enough level to go to Alterac Valley.
You do not gain levels from PvPing.
You gain honor, which is translated into “contribution points.”
Contribution points are then compared to every other earner on your realm and faction, giving you a weekly standing.
Depending on how many people were PvPing for your faction on your realm, brackets are created for various percentages of the population.
Depending on your bracket and placement therein, you are given “rank points,” which contribute towards your rank as seen in the honor tab.
Depending on your rank, you have access to various rewards. Your rank is limited based on your level. You can’t get rank 14 on a level 30, for example.
