Level 19's in Stress Server Battlegrounds

I was playing WSG, all was well testing things on the Stress Test server, until I go against a level 19 Warlock from the Beta Testing server. Considering literally everyone else is capped at level 10, I feel this is a bit of an unfair advantage. We could still kill them (Before they decided to just Drain Life everyone, in which they became unstoppable) but we inevitably lost the game because of it. Others have had the same thing happen to them. I am more than happy to wait longer if it ensures we ONLY vs others who are on this stress test server. Having someone as a level 19 come in from the Beta Server is a massive disadvantage and very unfair.

Because these WSG wins and honor really matter right? I think since the disadvantage will be short lived its not that much of a priority. Test other aspects of the game if you must.

Some people play a battleground because they generally enjoy it, and enjoy winning? All the fun sort of goes away when it becomes massively tilted to their favour, same with if it becomes tilted to your own favour due to a level 19 on your side.

I thought the Beta was down until Stress testing was over for this round?

Apparently not, unless it was only for the initial two hours.

It’s a TEST server. Wait until launch to go running to the forums about “not fair”.

Complaining about PVP balance in WSG from a stress test? I’ve seen it all now.

Okay well in that case, the bracket is 10-19. Yes, all the Stress Test players are capped at 10. But even if this were Live (or retail or whatever the latest name is) going into a BG at level 10 you go in knowing you’re low man on the pole.

Maybe blizzard was testing the rage of people being killed by a level 19.

And it is hard to TEST the battlegrounds when they do not last long enough to probably check things out (Found quite a few bugs, which I reported) due to level 19s.

This is it, the cycle of pointless whining is complete. Good job guys, hop on my layer for the celebration party.

Oh yeah I so remember that. At 10 you spend most of your time at the GY. Not until you hit midway in the bracket do you start to feel strong.

Then you’re a god at x9. Move to the next bracket and it starts all over again.

Keep que’ing so you can keep testing and keep reporting. That is our job on this or any other test we take part in. Good job btw.

You think it’s bad now? Wait til the server actually goes live.
I predict so many Twink Grief threads.

I just saw someone saying this in chat in the stress test. At first, I felt the same as you did. I assumed only stress test players would be in WSG, all level 10’s.

But after taking a few minutes to think about it I realized that this is just a short stress test after all and it really doesn’t matter much in the scheme of things. At least we have the opportunity to do WSG this time around.

Do those beta players have an unfair advantage? Of course. But again, this is just a short stress test and not launch. And maybe they are also testing cross realm bg’s also? Just a thought.

I got feared through a wall, while carrying the flag, and fell under the battlegound (Then died). That one was hilarious.

That’s a bug worth noting. Getting rolled by a class 9 levels higher has no shock value at all. It should happen and you know what you’re getting into signing up for a 10-19 lvl battleground.

hehe Nice to see someone else enjoy the weird stuff that happens. It’s one of my favourite parts of testing!

Yeah, I remember I used to typically wait at least until level 15-17 before doing WSG in that bracket. But if I get the time to get one of my characters to level 10 today, I will be playing at 10 happily lol.
