I don’t understand the appeal of this. These people have speed sets and the mobs fall over in literally half a second.
It is now the least engaging, most boring possible way to level. It used to be my favorite way. Now what am I supposed to do? Quests? Lol.
Enjoy the ride? Also if there are THAT many of them, you should question why people aren’t playing at max level…
Yeah I’d like to, that’s why I’m levelling a new character. But I can’t enjoy it, because I am not required to contribute anything. They can solo the entire dungeon.
It’s BORING.
I dont know any other way to put it. You try it. Make a new character and do LFG only. Watching paint dry is more entertaining
I recommend the follower dungeons, they are pleasant and you can also choose the pace even as a DPS or healer.
Vote kick them.
If majority rules, and they stay, then you’re the odd man out.

I am one of these TW twink tanks. I have recieved nothing but praise and gratitude in game. The only complaints I see come from the forums.
I’ve helped at least 10 people hit 80 and countless others jump many lvls with instant queues.
Its nice to help people and they all love the time save. If you dont like it, kick the tank (and ruin it for everyone) or leave the group.

I also did not enjoy Pandaria Remix either, for the same exact reason as this.

Some of us have been here forever, and leveling is boring. I’m not sure why you need to make a new character, but if it is because you are bored, there are other ways to do it.
For example, did you know you an level from 1-max by mining and herbing? Did you know all those all ores sell for a lot of gold? It is slower than LFG but at least you have a pot of gold by the end of the rainbow.
Or you can make the new race that gets bonus xp for exploring. I hit max level without exploring all the world options that area available…was maybe 3-4hrs of work.
Or they have hinted Legion remix is coming. Remix is THE ABSOLUTE best way to get max level alts.
Anyways, sounds like you should just take the W if you get a twink carrying you and done a LFG in 5mins or less.

These were the responses they gave, and I’m frankly glad they do it. It makes the 70-80 grind much nicer in my opinion.
Also…you can do that with pet battles. It takes forever, but it can be super fun.
To help others. Plain and simple. I see some people don’t like it, but experiential evidence shows me far more like it.
Oh and it does have the added benefit of real easy ways to get tmogs (but thats not my motivation)

I’ve been around just as long as you have, probably, I’ve lost count of how many characters ive leveled up to max level. and I’d much rather leveling took longer and was more engaging. But thanks for your super patronizing “suggestion” of doing it with herbing/mining - as if I didn’t know already know that.
Lol in dragonflight I levelled my main through questing, alt 1 through only dungeons, alt 2 by only mining/herbing, alt 3 by only grinding and skinning beasts, alt 4 by pvp.
It took a while but I had all the mats I could ever want for season 1

Not being patronizing, but also not being a douche either. I have legit done just about every single way outside of dungeons to max level.
Current pet battle alt is at 79 as it takes SO long to get to max level only doing pet battles
I thought you meant as, like “This dude thinks leveling is too quick because of twinks in LFG dungeons. Gathering is the slowest possible method, i’ll recommend that”
I never said it was a chore. I like to level new characters. It’s just that leveling in LFG was my preferred method and gradually over the years it has become easier and easier and easier to such an insanely ridiculous degree that we now have level 11 twinks snowballing the entire dungeon at pointbreak speeds.
You can install cata and take in the old ways.
15 to 60 is slow as hell. You see cata still has level cutoffs in play.
if there are no level 30’s in the RDF, you wait till there level 30’s. till say 40.
there can be 500 level 41’s. you won’t see that till…level 41, though.
Noting with looms, crafters on accounts, and such…the dude carrying you won’t be a twink. It just be the say level 49 who is about to bubble out. We have the off balanced BDK’s still. they make tbcc and wrath leveling dungeons a breeze.
retail found a middle ground to avoid this issue. living in both worlds of wow as it were…you’d want to take the retail twinks. its better than an hour later…you still have no dungeon pops at all.
Ive always wanted to be able to say I lvled one with pet battles but its too slow for me to stomach
