Only didn’t type the full curseword because of the forum rules here.
There’s even a thread, right now on the top page of General Discussion, also complaining about this- Except there he’s talking about twinks in Timewalking queue. They’re in both types of queues, both timewalking and levelling dungeons.
So I make a new character that I’m excited about to play and to learn how the spec works. I’m a Destro warlock. I spend 10-20 minutes in the levelling dungeon queue and finally get into one and… There’s a level 11 in the group, who’s got his Experience frozen, just 1 shotting everything in sight and leaving the group behind in dust as he does so. Woah, great gameplay, I waited 20 minutes in order to be able to do nothing on my character. Even if I catch up to him, my spells take time to cast, and the mobs will die before they finish casting. I literally can’t contribute here. It’s not fun. At all.
Dungeons have been my preferred method to level my characters since WotLK. I hate questing. It is boring and the only entertaining part about it - the narrative - unfolds too slowly for it to be engaging anymore. Also, Loremaster. I’ve done it all. Dungeons are how I do it now.
Yay, free xp! Who cares. I want to play the damn game. And if you come at me and say something like lol idiot, that’s how the game is played now, ppl just wanna rush to max level. Or you say that the level 11 twink is doing me a favor. You’re getting blocked.
The twink isn’t doing me a favor, nor anyone else. He is there for his own selfish gratification of feeling powerful and one-shotting everything.
lol first no matter if there is a twink in the timewalking dungeon or not, the mobs are going to die so fast, you’re not going to get your rotation in.
Second, you can’t just “shorten” a curse word and get away with it. Still against the rules.
Third, since there is already another thread at the top of the general forums about this same exact thing. This is spam
Forth, do normal dungeons not timewalking if you want things to live SLIGHTLY longer.
Fifth, if you want to play the game. Nothing is stopping you from doing so. You joined a RANDOM Q, with RANDOM people. If you don’t want to risk getting queued with a twink, simply form your own group. EZPZ.
you dont learn how to play a class by leveling so thats your fault/mistake. twinks are the best thing the community does and everyone complaining about them is objectively wrong . they make runs faster and so much better
Pretty sure you can’t just tell a portion of the player base to “got to hell” though. Seems against to go against those terms of service we all agreed to.
you have no right to tell people how to play the game
other people don’t have the right to tell you how to play the game
if a twink is glory pulling without asking if it’s ok prior, they aren’t being nice at all whatsoever. however, at the end of the day you always have an option to leave group if you don’t like how an instance is going
lol, I am sorry that five minutes and a free level removed your ability to learn how to play your class. Spend the twenty minutes you waited to learn. Make your own group of levelers if someone killing things ruins your ability to learn how to play. You have all the tools to go as slow or fast as you want
i always find it so pathetic seeing people whinge about things on the forums, when you can just do what foxhound said and initiate a vote kick, if it fails, only you have the issue. and you should consider leaving the group. players shouldn’t bend over backwards for the sake of 1 punk
The phrase as a whole? Probably not the best choice, no. That’ll might catch a deletion for inappropriate behavior.
But I was referring to the word itself, as OP stated he didn’t type out the word because forum rules and you mentioned it didn’t matter if it was typed out. So it seemed the conversation was about mature language words, which that one isn’t.
A turn of phrase used to insult is a turn of phrase used to insult. The amount of letters typed is irrelevant.
Nope, I said you can’t shorten a curse word on the forums. Not that particular word. It was a PSA to the guy who thinks that’s a way to get around the rule.
