There are many single player games for you to play if you dislike playing a game meant to be played with others. Others will play the game how they want. Get use to it or go play a single player game.
This comment is ridiculous. That isn’t my definition. It’s Blizzard. Here I’ll give you the entire paragraph.
Per the TOS, “You are responsible for how you and your account are represented in the game world. Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or Engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.
Abuse: Verb, use (something) to bad effect or for a bad purpose; misuse.
Abuse: Noun, the improper use of something.
Once again for the people in the back. Per the TOS: Engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.
Allowed and abuse are two very different things and are not inclusive. Just because you own a Ferrari doesn’t mean you are allowed to drive 100mph in a 60mph zone.
At level 80 to get credit for the weekly timewalking quest you must damage the final boss of the dungeon.
At level 80 to get credit towards your vault you must kill the required number of bosses in each dungeon. Dungeons have either 3 or 4 mandatory bosses you must kill and sometimes there are bonus bosses that play no part on weekly quests or the vault.
Now the issues:
A. Room lockouts. The tank twink abuses their “god-mod” status and runs straight to the boss. The result: Grouped players are locked out of the boss fight (they can’t keep up. Especially when all the skipped mobs are aggroing on them). Room lock-out prevents you from damaging the bosses. See 1 & 2 above.
B. Skipping bosses. Twinks are only concerned with the final boss because completing the dungeon rewards the most experience (Remember tank twinks have their experience turned off) for the OTHER player(s) they are leveling. Then they can instantly queue (because tank/mistweaver heal). Rinse repeat. See 1 and 2 above.
C. Playing the game and getting to play your character. This might seem like a stretch for some reading but players (myself included) enjoy playing the character even if the content is timewalking or heroic dungeon level. (sometimes called, chore content or free content).
Allowed and abuse are two very different things and are not inclusive. Just because you own a Ferrari doesn’t mean you are allowed to drive 100mph in a 60mph zone.
No. My dash cam will record you being reckless and putting everyone’s life in jeopardy and I will send the footage to the local news and police stations.
Uhhhh. If the government “ALLOW” me to drive 100 MPH on the freeway, I’d bet you’ll be the one calling in to complain. You’ll say I’m “ABUSING” my Ferrari’s potential because your Geo Metro can’t do 100.
Like I said, your opinion is duly noted but invalid. Go play a single player game.
I’m not trying to rewrite posts but you keep telling me I’m not answering your questions. My apologies for the duplicates.
Now your just being silly. I’ve been annually subscribed to WoW since 2004. I’m not going anywhere. This is the only game I play. It’s more of a hobby. Like reading books or bird watching, etc.
If you want to speculate reading social media. Thousands of twinks abusing the system they are allowed to use have been banned recently. Like last week.
IDC what you do. I agree, play how you want. But if I run into a twink abusing the advantage they have been given. Then I will report that. What happens after that I don’t know about because Blizzard doesn’t tell you about their investigations.
Just repeating what probably the most well known hacker and user of wow exploits is saying on his YT channel and telling his audience what to do to avoid detection.
