Level 10s one shotting timewalking dungeons

Look up a character named Spintowin @ Aggramar. Level 10 twinks that go into these dungeons and one shot everything. It feels cheap and seems like an exploit.

Calling out player’s name is a violation of forum rule. You need to go online and submit hack report and let them check out the character for possible hack or exploit.

Twinking is not against the rule, if you got the gold you can really gear up low levels

They changed timewalking to use the “normal” type of scaling like we saw in MoP Remix, I believe.

Level 10’s were hilariously brokenly overpowered there, easily soloing pretty much any instanced content.

Really surprised they haven’t corrected it. I get that it’s scaling based on level and ilevel so it’s way more lenient on lower levels since there isn’t a lot of higher ilvl gear… but as it stands it’s treating it as if they’re entirely decked out in “level 10” legendary gear in every slot. Lol

If that player is a level 10 mistweaver with the Lifestealing enchant, people have been doing that for awhile, you previously only saw them while leveling. I saw people doing that in the DF prepatch, and I imagine it wasn’t new even at that time.

Sorry for the necro, but I don’t think it’s just certain players in special gear.

I created a brand new paladin tank and brand new brewmaster monk because I wanted to learn how to play these classes.

At level 10 in heirloom gear, my paladin tank was killing everything in the dungeon in 1-2 hits
With my brewmaster monk every group I’m in with players less than level 20, mobs & bosses die within seconds. When I’m in a group with higher levels the mobs & bosses take longer to kill.

That’s because Heirloom gear has really good stats for those levels compared to greens and blues (at those levels). Most people should have heirlooms, but there are some new-ish folks that may not.

Really wish they’d get around to balancing this nonsense.

Another scaling issue that I noticed:

While tanking with any class level 74 and below, tanking is super easy to both stay alive and keep aggro.

When my paladin tank and dk tank reach level 75, tanking got really, nearly impossible hard. I couldn’t keep aggro and I was taking very large hits from trash.

After my dk tank reached level 80 tanking resume being easy again (paladin tank isn’t level 80 yet)

75-80 is the point where your level 70 gear stops outpacing dungeons. There are a handful of slots that can be crafted at 550 ilvl with a level requirement of 71 which will help.

Do you not realize that the current state is a result of their last attempt to balance things?

They’re objectively not good at balancing, and it’s a solid-lock guarantee that meddling with it now will make it somehow far worse.

It is not, is a twink, get use to it because a lot of us use them for timewalking token farm

actually heirloom gear is slightly worse stats now. at level 10 my heirlooms have lesser stats than dungeon gear at that level

I disagree, they could cut level 10 character power in dungeons in half and it would still be overpowered.

It goes to how one would want the new player game experience to be. The current leveling paradigm is absolute nonsense. New players have no time to figure out at all what their abilities do, never mind how they interact with one another, until they’re at close to max level. It’s awful.
