I used to solo this to get warforged maxxed when I was bored…had 100’s of easy solo clears. Went in there today and could not get through first set of trash. Was something changed I did not read about?

They made scaling changes earlier (just ahead of the anniversary).

Oh nope. It’s still thriving.
Basically there were two communities kinda different. Timewalking community and specific level twinking (mostly on XPOFF and their discord).
When timewalking effectively was nuked because everyone was scaled up rather than down a lot of those players either quit or went into twinking.
Seems like there are other things that really needed to be fixed before tackling this minor issue

They made it worse than it was before (in my opinion).
With TWW’s prepatch, they messed with the ilvl of low-level gear. They have been doing this in recent expansions to smooth out the ilvl gain across levels up until whichever expansion is current. Basically they cut out the massive leaps in gear from what used to be the current expansion and make the gear curve smooth. The result was lower ilvl at level 10-11 than what it used to be.
They also normalized Warforged (and quest epic upgrade) gear to be +5 ilvl instead of the nonsense that was WF doubling your ilvl in the 10s bracket for some reason.
They also killed Totem Trinket cheese (but that was more of a 20s thing for most people).
So TL;DR:
Your ilvl got halved in TWW. Full WoD WF is now worse than what used to be regular dungeon blues.
Everyone actually twinking compensated by switching back to TBC Gem Socket gear, since the gem sockets cover a good chunk of lost stats from ilvl.
And now we have access to timewalking (ilvl 60 gear at level 11), which doesn’t outclass TBC Socket Gear, but is very useful for most specs’ weapons, some trinkets (especially with Cata TW coming up), cloaks, and bracers. You can get better options elsewhere for rings and necklaces. Probably WotLK for Helm/Boots with gem sockets (including meta).
Straight full timewalking gear is by no means weak so that’s an option, but I think pretty much everyone will want the 2-3 gem socket pieces. 1 gem pieces might be hit or miss but I think for most it’s still better (because they’ll be on pieces that have less stats to begin with so the increased ilvl is meh).
Guardian Druid also lost their 100% Swipe Damage buff talent in the 10s bracket.
DH Lost some stuff in the 10s bracket talents too, but I don’t know the details.
Mage relied a lot on just nuking everything before it touched them, so they’re comparatively weaker (but not useless) than pre-TWW while some other specs stayed basically the same. Especially if they participate in Timewalking where things are scaled slightly above normal dungeon levels (ie they live longer).
Lifestealing Specs are basically king right now since that leans so heavily on the enchant itself and not ilvl.
On the plus side:
11 Dev Evoker is actually insane with its burst damage. Better than Mage/Shaman ever was. Unfortunately getting an 11 Evoker is iffy. I had 2 from Remix. 1 I messed up. 2nd one was bugged when I finally logged into it and can’t choose a spec. Currently waiting on gear update to see what happens with another one, since that works for DH.
The wod warforged twink gear got its ilvl halved, in addition stamina was reduced at low levels.
Level 11 is much sturdier, and your gear now comes from regular timewalking dungeons and is much easier to obtain.
i’m just curious what your title has to do with your actual topic. Because you mentioned a Twink in the title and then you don’t mention a Twink in the topic. Are you trying to say that the twin was able to clear something that you couldn’t clear?
He’s talking about his own twink. All Warforged gear (from Slag Mines and Shadowmoon) is what Twinks did for the most part during Dragonflight.
