Level 10 to Max Level Chromie Time

It is very telling when I need to wait until Timewalking comes around so I can get my 70s to 80.
It would be awesome to have an option to extend Chromie Time to max level instead of just 70. I really don’t like leveling alts though current expansion content and it has been this way for years for me.

I would expect that, if this was implemented, you would need to do the current expansion campaign for the first time, and then for alts, you would be given the option to extend Chromie time all the way to max level, where you are then booted to the current timeline (just like you are now when you reach level 70).

It is either this, or don’t make alt leveling in current expansion content a slog. Slow and steady is fine for your first character; you get to experience the campaign properly, look at all the new zones, etc, but you don’t need that for alts unless you really want to, so have it be optional!
It isn’t like you’re leaving the current content zones when you hit max level anyway, if Blizzard’s excuse is that they want people to experience the zones on their alts.

I hope this post wasn’t just word salad, I don’t usually start threads, I just comment on them.

It is optional. Once you have completed the levelling campaign on 1 character, you unlock adventurer mode (or whatever they call it) and you can choose to level using WQ etc.

would be, but Ion seems to be holding out on this one for some weird, pointless reason. lol.
Given you can get around it with a free account and party sync, literally ZERO valid reason to not just let our high level characters use CT as we see fit.

but you can go from 10 to 80, you just dont earn a lot of XP

Leveling 70-80 is like the fastest it’s ever been, how is it a slog lmao

Also how would chromie time speed it up and all since it would give the same xp

unlock chromie for all
:cherries:

While I have MANY issues with WoW’s leveling - the lack of a slower option and the grossly undertuned content that occasionally switches to nigh-impossible being some notable ones - there is at least one quick fix that should be implemented:

Remove the Restriction.

Specifically, the restriction on Chromie Time only being accessible to characters at level 69 or below. The auto-boot at the current cap (70) is gone, but you’re on the clock and will eventually get booted out upon your next hearth, login, or hitting level 71 (triggers the old auto-boot).

And once you’re out, you’re out permanently.

Why can’t they just allow Chromie Time to stay on, even if it scales no higher than level 70?

Let level 80s turn it on for funsies, what is the harm in that?!
