why people below level 50s cant use the custom group finder? this has killed rp groups being formed there

Pretty sure they did it to cut back on advertising spam, but in usual Blizzard fashion threw the baby out with the bathwater. Not only can low levels not make RP groups now, they also can’t use it for levelling group quests, of which there are many.
figured but man i miss being able to join a rp when i had nothing else to do 
Everyone has trouble with some class while leveling, everyone had an issue with that one group quest, it was stupid to disable it below L50.

Ya sadly, they did it because low level characters make up a LOT of the advertisement spam.
And conversely, they make up a very low percentage of the people who utilize the premade group finder system.
Groups Quests do not exist in any sort of mandatory form, folks. They gutted all of those way back in Cata. New “Group Quests” are all totally optional sidequests and can STILL be easily done solo, as the difference tends to be “it has more health” and maybe “dodge bad on the ground”. They aren’t like they used to be.
All of that said, it’s definitely an overkill change. Require level 10 or something and you’ll cut out a good chunk of the spam without gutting functionality for leveling players.
And as a tangent, do people actually use group finder RP as anything but an excuse for ERP? Because my experience with every group I’ve ever joined through that tool (admittedly only a handful, and its been awhile) has been that it’s basically the same thing as all the Family RP / Military RP / School RP / etc that you used to find in Moon Guard’s Elwynn Forest.
before the level 50 change people did use it more often for rp, it was my fav activity i loved doing when i had nothing to do back in wod - bfa, now cause of the change rp groups are now rare
