Can I take a newly created Rogue to the Night Elf starting area and level there right from the get go? Am tired of these Whitemane queues and want something different!
I don’t see why you couldn’t. The run there though is dangerous so be prepared to not make it without dying a few times
Oh yeah death will be inevitable, I’m just concerned I will end up with having to return to SW for human Rogue class quests and the like.
It will take hours to get there, but this is a good idea if you’d like to a tiger mount. It’ll give you a head start on that exalted rep.
Much death, but you’ll get xp for exploration. I ran a cow to troll/orc starter zone, LOTS of death haha, but got a full level off of zone exploration.
Pay a lock for summon or mage for teleport.

I think you can just do the rogue quests there. I took my dwarf warrior there and was able to do the night elf warrior quest. The only trainer I think that isn’t there is warlock.
Day 1, I ran my Orc Shaman from Durotar to Mulgore, and my Night Elf Priest from Kalimdor to Elwynn Forest. Died a lot, sure, but it was worth it for what I wanted to accomplish. It’s also something I did back in the day, so I was happy to do it again.
Go for it! Live the experience of dying and trying and succeeding!
Edit: And yeah, if there’s a trainer for your class there, it’s fine. I got all my Shammy quests from the Taurens.
I took my UD warlock to the Orc starting area. Because Orcs can be warlocks too, i was able to do all my warlock class quests from the orc area.
Gnome to Human area. Easy… 10 min tram ride. Been questing in Wetlands and have seen a lot of NE corpses on the road… presumably on their run to Elwynn.
Yes, you can totally run to the Night Elf starting area. My Blood Elf mage, warlock, and paladin are now Humans in WoW Classic.
What I did was I did all the quests in the Human starting zone. I then ran to Goldshire to set my hearthstone there.
Next, I go to Ironforge, then Loch Modan, and finally I corpse run through Wetlands with all of my gear in my bags (so I don’t take durability damage when I die in the Wetlands). Next is the boat to Darkshore, then the boat to Teldrassil, and finally I run to the Night Elf starting zone.
I’ll hit level 6 just running to the Night Elf zone. And I’ll be level 7 by the time I do all the quests in the Night Elf zone. And since my hearthstone is set to Goldshire (or Stormwind or Iron Forge), I can hearth back every 2 levels to learn my new spells and do the corpse run again.
Yes, you can run to the Night Elf zone starting at level 1. You might be level 2 or 3 by the time you get there though.
