Letting players use NPC emotes

So! With the whole new character customization stuff coming out with Shadowlands, why not allow players to use some of the NPC specific emotes as well? We’ve only been getting them since I think MoP, and BFA came littered with them for Humans, Zandalari, and a few others for their city guards. Heck, could even let us use some of the idle combat animations instead of just letting them be used once in a blue moon.

They made quivers for that guy in Drustvar, they have longcoats for Kul’Tirans and they can lean on walls… Why not players enjoy that as well?

I would love access to the various guard poses. They’re very cool, would love an idle stance change option much like the one FFXIV has

I’m surprised there isn’t an option to do these sort of things. ESO certainly nailed that ball out of the park when they did emotes, for crying out loud, they even have a broom sweeping emote. I would love to see the ability to do poses with weapons and shields, emotes where you’re mining without nodes. I imagine how much grander RPing on WoW would be with these allowed.

i want to be able to stand like that picture of genn, with him holding his sword in the ground

I miss having a quiver - and no, before anyone says this, I don’t want to have to change my spec to get one. Hunters used to have them by default, even with a polearm to boot. Then for some dumb STUPID reason Blizz thought oh hey, we’ll re-incorporate them back for hunters, but make it spec specific. Bah!

Would also like to randomly lean against a wall or column if I so choose. Bouncing about all the time is boring. lol

I’m being lighthearted and playful here, only halfway serious, but do agree we need more random stuff

:sparkles:

Where’s my lute Blizzard.

I would love to be able to pray on all fours and chant like the other Zandalari. I do be getting my powers from the loa after all.

Ya also forgot their belts. The ones with the flintlocks and such.
