Letting people into lfr nzoth without cloak indicates blizzard doesn't care anymore

Blizz doesn’t care. Players don’t care. At lease the sun cares as it will continue to provide warmth with the next sunrise.

Tips fedora.

LFR and serious in the same sentence. That’s hilarious

Until it dies.

Plus getting the cloak was a big part of 8.3 {like it or not} . If people are really there for the story then they should see the story of getting the cloak.

LFR is supposed to be for ppl that just wana see the boss and the end cinematic. Blizzard is just memeing them

I think it’s a funny “oh no!” moment, to be caught on Rage or the actual N’zoth fight without a cloak.

Getting even the rank 1 will prevent that from happening. It’s the central mechanic/thing of this patch and the story so far, so it’s kind of important to get even for people who casually play. Heck, even my 8 year old is working on hers, and she’s SUPER casual.

Weird “unskilled-player-friendly” thing about the scenarios to get the cloak: if you sit there long enough on the power pylon puzzle, it will solve itself. Magni gets tired of waiting for you and just does it. It’s meant for even the really bad players to get through.

What. WHAT? I didn’t know this lol

I’d go the other way. I’m all for holding Blizzard accountable, but it’s not up to them to ensure people have their cloaks. “Pfft! What cloak!? I don’t need no stinkin’ cloak.” was the second highest voted option from these forums alone, showing that people simply do not care about progressing their character in a meaningful way. It’s not Blizzard’s fault if they completely disregard an aspect of a patch and die as a result. Serves 'em right.

People don’t care about the cloak or story for patch 8.3. People just want to log in and have fun. Which is the point of LFR from my view.

Looks like a buffet of corpses to me. What’s wrong?

Yeah, lol! My kid got frustrated and asked for help. I was about to go walk her through it when it solved itself and she was able to progress. Blew my mind.

The “devs” should have just removed the insanity thing from LFR nzoth.
Devs could also restrict Nzoth encounter only for those with a Cloak.
Totally on the devs for this one.

Either the devs dont care or they do it on purpose.
Any person with a mind can see that some LFR players wont have cloaks.

Nothing to do with management on game issues like this one.
Cant blame management for everything.

I’d rather watch the end cinematic on You Tube and gear with WQ’s

Let the LFR community have a challenge for once. Let them (us) take months to be able to kill it

Those are Blizzard’s words, not mine. LFR is supposed to be for the “experience”.

Personally I don’t do LFR except to see the day 1 struggle for laughs. Gearing through LFR is just about the most inefficient way to gear there is.

I hear ya, I still think they should cut LFR and put normal in the que.

It’s not hard and yet blizzard had to put out a blog post recently telling people how to do the initial cloak quests, step by step.

There are far more people below the curve than you think (even though mythic geared players are trolling a bit right now).

My gearing strategy is to get whatever free gear you get, do a few m+, and then once I reach the minimum heroic ilvl I make my own group and stack it with pug players who are way higher then me and get them to run it. If they do bad I kick them until I get a group that can carry me. If I’m still a little low I’ll do normal like this too. then I go to higher keys with my new gear and after two weeks I’m usually close to max heroic ilvl.

Just kick the people who don’t have cloaks.

If people haven’t put 2 and 2 together then it’s on them. Obviously the cloak is a major point in this patch and obviously if you had any form of a brain cell you’d wonder what the cloak is for and why you’re getting this crazy corruption gear and all this talk of sanity stuff.

Blizz can’t fix stupid.
