Pushing a button over and over is what we do anyways. Whether it's a different button or not. It's still just pushing buttons over and over again. There difference as I've said is the players choice in which button to push.
A bot makes that choice not the player. Big difference.
Stop feeding the troll. There's no way he can legitimately believe macros are any sort of automation considering blizzard has supported them, and continues to support them, for over 10 years now.
Every MMO I've ever played has some level of macroing.
I never made proper use of the macro system in WOW though. Maybe combined a couple of moves onto one button because they're used simultaneously anyway and hunter already had more keybinds than I had available keys to bind them to.
Regardless if the intention was to troll it did start a decent conversation.
As you can see we are going back and forth. Without insults I might add. Which is pretty awesome! Think they call that discussion.
In it's basic form that is what trolling is. Conversation starter. Ice breaker. Some just use it to get attention and emotional responses. Which hey everyone likes attention from time to time.
