Let's talk about Ysera

Ok maybe I am a sappy girl… but am I the only one who cried when I got to the part in the story quests where I discovered that the wild seed I had been protecting all along was Ysera?
Man… the feels <3

I was too angry at everything in Ardenweald to care.

Why did they make me leave Zombie Wrestlemania to go quest in the Magic Disney Forest where the fairies asked me to seduce a bird? WHY?!?!

Yeah it was a great moment in the NF campaign.

That was driving me mad while leveling, spent the whole zone trying to figure out who on earth that wild seed was. Didn’t occur to me it could be Ysera.

I’m glad she’s alright though. I like the Dragon Aspects, they deserve good things.

Im a guy, it was good, but I saw it coming and I was a little disappointed at first. I was afraid before the xpac that we would see every major character come back at some point. But Yseras story was pretty well done, so if blizz does it right, im ok with returning characters.

Lol I thought the part where we were seducing the bird was cute… I hated to have to kill her afterwards tho

I will admit this was an emotion getting bit of story. Many cool points and internet cookies given to the writers and devs who made it happen. Do stuff like this more…profit.

And for the comic relief later in the play. I love Ysera’s reactions to the play as the fae tell the story of doom and gloom with the cheeriest of voices.

5 minutes into Ardenweald campaign

It’s Ysera isn’t it?

I knew that from the moment we were first introduced to it. It seemed very blatant. So I was already prepared.

Same reaction here. Great minds think alike. And apparently, so do ours.

They made it super obvious it was her, but the cinematics regarding Ursoc made it confusing. Ultimately, I was more sad over Ursoc’s fate after everything that happened to him and everything they said his fate would become.

That was probably the best part of leveling even if it felt so disconnected from the story that I had no idea why it was there.

Just think about it… something weird is happening so they first send us to Bastion to meet with the Kyrian as they are the ones who shepherd souls. Simple and fair enough. They are attacked at the end of the zone so we logically go to deal with those who attacked them and discover more about what is going on. After we get told to go talk to the Queen in Arden about the mana shortage, but we dont advance the story in any meaningful way. Then after its back to tracking down the cause in Raven where the story reaches its conclusion with the grand betrayal. Three of those zones are essential to that story. Arden is not.

It’s freedom of creativity. Keep In mind freedom Isn’t appealing to everyone. And this one Is rather tame and doesn’t harbor raw evils. I enjoyed the whole thing for what It was. The zones are made for different kinds of people. And In my opinion It’s best to accept each other because we like different things. Otherwise life would be BORING

I had to leave WOW maybe 2 weeks into bfa due to bad life circumstances with an abusive ex, so I had no idea who that wildseed could be. It was a very happy surprise getting to see her again after finally being able to come back <3

I am sorry that you had to deal with such horrible circumstances and I am glad that you are okay. I hope you find much enjoyment out of your time now that it is over.

I figured out it was her pretty much instantly, so no. The moment I realized that seed would be following us around the zone I knew it would be a major lore character, and only one fit the destination and timeline.

I was more intrigued when Kel’thuzad showed up, but he’s so far been a pushover and nothing like the master manipulator I knew.

There were so many amazing moments in the NF section. Definitely the best part of the expansion quest chain.
