In short: I like it, it’s out there, it doesn’t get political or biased about anything.
I miss bfa and probably always hold a place in my heart for Zandalar, but Shadowlands is like being taken for a trip on some drugs and obviously your head can’t fully recognize the experience but you liked how it felt anyway.
There are some people who don’t agree being zapped to another dimension and that’s totally ok.
I think the expansion personally, is fresh. I think Blizz tried, though it’s in our hearts to be a gamer and hold our crosses than breathing in for 5 and out for 10 lol.
^ Was supposed to be very tongue and cheek and not to be taken literally lol.

Ardenweald reminds me of Ori and the will of the wisps, which was probably my favorite game of the last year.
So far, the only dungeon I don’t particularly like in SL is plaguefall. The others, even when annoying, beat anything in BFA. I love that skips are less necessary/standard in most M+ at the moment.
And I absolutely cannot overstate how relieved I am that azerite/AP is gone with nothing of consequence to take its place. The only treadmills I need to jump on outside my normal content preferences are for purely cosmetic stuff.
SL is beautiful. Except Bastion which is too bright.
Having access to TWO Potency Conduits before anyone else that ISN’T using Dreamweaver.

Yeah, my friend is loving PVP. I’m too much a stickler for PVE and group content personally, but I like how theres still something for everyone and it isn’t phased out.
Maldraxxus and everything in it and about it bar Draka is cool. That’s all I got.
Ardenweald. It’s about all I appreciate of Shadowlands so far.
I think it’s slightly better than BfA and that’s probably the only good thing I can say about it. The bar is pretty low.
Well, I bet that a lot of people will think that the homosexual couple in the middle of the night fae hall is getting political.
I have a lot more free time because I’m not playing it.
The art and music teams hit it out of the park again.
Oh, and more customization options.

Revendreth, Torghast (sorry), I actually like the dungeons except for the meathook thing in Necrotic Wake cause I suck at it, Oribos because it’s not Dazar’alor, the Great Vault (not perfect but better than the m+ chest), covenant transmogs/gear, the cinematics (and the story is more interesting than in BFA imo, so are the new characters like Denathrius)
I miss call to arms
I like that there is a ton to do. Just wish some of the content scaled like rep rewards, etc. Torghast is a great concept, just wish it wasnt so long. Mythics are very mechanic heavy which is frustrating but at the same time good. The legendary thing that we do now is kinda lame. I miss the old grind for the battered hilt.
The zones feel small at times but in a weird way feel home-ey, as in i am so invested into the covenant storyline that the zone feels like your own backyard. thats different for me. Im not a huge fan of mythic 0s not dropping gear, or atleast not an obtainable rate. Ive ran LFR twice and havent had a sniff at anything.
I appreciate that blizzard reminded me why they aren’t deserving of my money. They remind me that I continue to feed into this abusive relationship because somehwere deep down I stupidly hope they go back to being a genuinely honest and good game developer. >_> Never been so gaslighted in my entire life.
I appreciate the art team. They always knock it out of the park. There are some really awesome transmogs to be had and the mounts are really nice. The zones too honestly, Ardenweald is beautiful and I love the feel of Revendreth.
I appreciate the themes, story, class changes + added covenant abilities. The lack of an artifact power bar. The new armor sets. The clear intent to fix what we didn’t like.
