Why can wands not be transmogrified into Legion weapons? Not only is the transmog for them extremely lacking, but you don’t even have the option to mog into a legion artifact appearance rather than only wands?
Every other weapon type can be transmogrified into legion appearances, regardless of weapon types, except wands. Is this still a restriction from back in the days when wands held their own special spot on the gear table?
Because they’re ranged weapons.
I don’t even understand the point of them anymore. Mana has no meaning, what’s the point of them?
Stat stick. 
I believe it may have something to do with the shooting animation when you attack with a wand.
I’m just happy that I have a decent transmog for my current wand, though I would prefer to use my mage tower transmog. 
Sadly there are few decent choices for wand transmogs in my humble opinion.
Considering weapon damage means absolutely nothing for casters I don’t see an issue with outright removing it entirely, or just making Shoot a generic “bolt coming from weapon”. Because it is so hard to believe a magic missile coming out of a slightly bigger stick that takes two hands to hold.

Yes I absolutely hate it when I get a weapon upgrade and it’s a wand… I had one once and was desperate to get a new upgrade immediately cus my Transmogg is not complete without my legion artifact and there were no wands in the game that matches my transmogg I just had to use the prettiest wand I could find.
Why do wands have to all be freaking ugly? Mogging wands is PAIN
it wouldn’t be such a problem if they weren’t dropping more than cruise ship stock. c’mon blizz, every freakin weapons emissary, another wand. it’s not like these things come around very often to begin with. give us a break with effing wands. 
Let’s not talk about wands. Let’s talk about removing wands, or at least their ability to Shoot. No caster uses their auto-attack anymore. Wands are pointless.

If you can equip it then you should be able to transmog it into any weapon you can equip as well. But as usual for Bliz, nerfed before the fun can happen. GG.
Wand and mace transmog should be interchangeable.
Wands are evil for transmog and auto shoot hasn’t been useful since like Burning Crusade. Maybe Wrath.
Kinda wish they’d at least make it so casters have shooting animations with other weapons if the flavor is that important and give more flexibility with transmog. But I wouldn’t really be sad either if wands suddenly disappeared from future loot tables.
wands need more respect
