Difference here is I posted sources supporting my claims… I see no valid sources supporting anything you have said…
Did you know that its actually
Divine protection for ret has a 150% pvp modifier that brings it to 110%, plus a talent is 0% dr in pvp combat that also gives a bubble every 3 seconds and heals the paladin for half his health
See how just saying things with no source to support what you say is stupid
Now delete your garbage post about ret having a 30% wall.
It is people like YOU that complain without having any idea about ret. YOU and op calling ret hard to kill thinking it has a 30% wall on a min cd.
The overall discussion is about rogue… But I said something incorrect about paladin and it sent this kid into a rage where his mom probably had to clean up cereal.
Blows my mind that I’m the one being told to keep it together.
Rogues on teams that have classes with great synergy with one another will be strong even if you gut their defenses. How are their defenses the problem? Where are the healers? I find it hard to believe any healer will agree a rogue that’s not controlling the game perfectly or on a coordinated team that is, is easy to heal. If their defenses were so strong it would not feel like healing paper being shredded in most cases.
If you use well I’m at a higher bracket than you are and you just don’t know. That just proves my point that skill is the only thing making rogues so strong and making every one complain about them. And that maybe even the higher rated players don’t know how to properly counter them. Just cause you hit 2k does not mean you know everything.
See, your problem is you didn’t do enough research and didn’t go to the modified by section to find the second Retribution Paladin hidden passive (cuz paladin needs 2 I guess?), which has 2 important effects, 5 and 6. One increases the damage taken by 10%, so instead of -20% damage taken, it is now -10% damage taken, and the other does the reverse but with a pvp multiplier of 0, so it goes back to -20% damage taken outside of pvp.
Then you should have no issue with gutting said defensives. Nobody picked rogue because they wanted to live forever.
Rogue’s solution to pressure should be stealth, control, counterpressure, or mobility. (or just rely on teammates) That doesn’t mean for example, vanish, needs to be this do-all omnipotent CD that’s both offensive, defensive, CDR, Healing, Mobility, etc. Cheat death originally had no ICD and was just 30% chance to take 0 damage from a killing blow. We’ve always been this class that blizzard just has no idea how to balance, but it’s gone too far.
Honestly I don’t care if they gut it. You’re asking for extreme reverse though, go from hard to kill to target of every game. Rogues that are not top tier are easy to kill in current form. Even if you can’t watch them die making them play defensive all game is a huge blow to their setups and damage.
