So word on the street is that this buff was only ever supposed to go out once every 24 or was it 48 hours? Is this true? Is per head or regardless of Ony or Nef?
So I wonder if it is possible to coordinate that the buff only gets dropped at a specific time every day - and that only gets turned in after X time to X time. A gentleman’s agreement if you will.
How about Warchief’s Blessing? Does that buff have a cooldown before it can be re-applied?
That’s up to your raid groups on the faction on the realm.
Same deal.
Every big name guild would do this, you’d normally give some one the head, and they can’t hand it in till X Y Z. To buff certian raiding guilds and so on, it wasn’t uncommon to have a pug Ony get the head then get paid to put it down during a prime raid time as well.
Warchief one i hoenstly can’t remember, i know that one was only for an hour while dragon was 2 hours.
I can’t seem to find confirmation on the buff cooldown part of my post, which was the only thing I actually was interested in.
Everything else was rhetorical.
One major thing is that the turn in gives people BIS items for a while so people just want to drop it.
Casual/Semi-Hardcore guilds will coordinate it with each other.
Hardcore guilds will time themselves to leech and then log off until raid, and drop theirs when they choose. Getting DMN Buffs, dropping in for dragon head, and logging off in Badlands or Red Ridge is pretty productive.
Expect rogue drops and people getting angry. It’s part of the amusement.
Thats typically how it works.
The CD was only 2 hours in 1.12 IIRC. Enough to be a PITA if you just missed it, but also short enough that multiple guilds can actually turn in heads.
