Lets talk about MM

how did it end up being more oppressive? instead of getting blasted from CD’s now it’s just every time a MM hunter sneezes you lose 75% of your HP instantly and have to pop every CD known to man to not die from the follow up boogers…

It’s really not that way when you have real good healers in your run. I do great in Rated arena stuff, and my wife plays a healer and does great with her priest in Rated pvp. In Pug BG like a 10 or 15 person run so so on my hunter due to the fact the other team has great healers.

My wife tells me that when its a premade it doesn’t matter how good she is, they wipe everyone out all the time. So a premade knocks out a pug no problem there.

The hunter is only so good if they are healed, but in a pug, phew that healing is tough going, I only have so many self heals I can use. The hunter did a billion damage great, thank that healer that kept you going. Don’t be to fooled with the mail wearing hunter can out last everyone and even if they pack haste, they are still slow imo. A hunters best friend in any pvp match of any kind is a healer helping out.

You need to find some people pvping that love to heal and that hunter won’t be so bad anymore. You will see what I mean.

This is all 100% valid but still doesn’t address the issue that MM damage is simply way too over tuned and the recent buffs/nerfs seemed to be a flat-out buff to overall MM damage because there’s even more MM hunters out here now and every game has MM on top of leaderboard

Because MM does nothing outside of trueshot/double tap windows.

(not counting saltwater/zerk buffs since anyone can roll over a random bg with those)

EotS yesterday Solo BG. Sit Dr, rogue clicks flag, I make a call for aid, CC rogue, he trinkets and Steps/kidney to me, he clicks, I trinket, he blinds me, no way exists for me to remove it, he takes the base as his MW shows up and one dps from my team, then 2 more dps from his team. Now it is 2Vs4 and we dont have a healer at DR, but they do so we die over and over. End of match was 100 or so to 1500 points and my teammate said to throw harder but never came to help DR. Having good damage when out of CC does nothing when CCed, outnumbered, and they have a healer and I dont.

You guys are right, we should be allowed to use gliders and saltwater potions in Rated.

Oh and Engineer gear. I paid for this stuff, let me use it.

Having an MM sit doesn’t make sense unless they are running with a pet. To my understanding (exceptionally limited though it may be) that is why historically hunters sat bases. Shouldn’t be a thing with mm any more.

Anybody with experience can do that in random battlegrounds regardless of spec played.

Ya see this is the issue. Many time you get 1 or less healers. How 1 healer gonna heal multiple nodes in a BG?

The problem with pvp is they tune using the dinosaur that is 3v3.

MM got nerfed to be one of the worst ranged DPS in PVP because 1000 rating ppl who don’t push defensives got mad about getting 3-tapped during a 2 minute CD window.

It’s literally one of the worst PVP specs in the game.

I was in that EOTS against you last night, good game amigo! I think MM solo isn’t to hard to counter, but like last night in EOTS there were two of us and our damage was to much for your healers to heal through.

Very true, hit 649 million in a EOTS, just by positioning myself under the cliff at mid. Point is, it is very easy to stack up the damage as MM.

I think the best I’ve done in a random battleground this season is something like 500 mil in Warsong Gulch. All I really did was move back and forth between the two berzerker huts and attack anything that moved. Saltwater was also used of course.

100% it blows my mind people think mm needs a nerf because a hunter killed them in a bg from 40 yards when they didnt use a cd. Mm hunter and actually bm also are literally the lowest rated and represented ranged dps class over 2k in every arena.

How the hell are people still complaining. Hunters cant even keep melee off them anymore. We literally dont have enough trade options vs warrior or rogue or monk or dh or pally. We can time every disengage and masters call and trap perfectly and the cooldown times will always let the melee get back to us.

I want to beat anyone that thinks hunter needs a nerf with a hose

They deal unhealable damage to my holy paladin,

And my holy paladin has the highest functioning armor in the game

not even fury warriors are hurting me as much inside a spear.

Hunters don’t give a f about melee on them, BM is pure instant cast and you have no pushback on casting, except hunter has binding shot, punt trap, or ice trap.

Bm hunter does zero burst. If you cant figure out how to defensive or heal during a sustained dps class you are juat bad at the game. No cap.

Your paladin also is not the hughest functioning armor in the game. Druid and warrior are. U arnt even right about your own class. Its scrubs like u that get hunter nerfed because scary animal

U are just bad. Hunter is a C tier dps and mm is laughably easy to stick to without a pet now
