I was really disappointed to not see any changes to these talents. They are so bad. On murlok IO it’s currently the only talent on the resto tree that not a single person takes.
Invigorate for me does about ~100k healing per person and that’s at 633 ilvl with a few hots on them. This seems incredibly low considering it can only be used once every 10 seconds, only heals someone if they have a rejuv/regrowth, and doesn’t proc from the tree’s wildgrowth. The tuning seems so off that doubling or tripling the healing would probably not make it see play.
The first thing that needs to be said about invigorate is that the tooltip is in desperate need of changing. It’s just not accurate. It doesn’t 'refresh the duration" of lifebloom and rejuv, it sets their duration to 3 seconds and makes them heal twice as fast. In the vast majority of situations this is a bad thing to do and even in the perfect scenario, someone has fewer than 3 seconds remaining and has missing health, a regrowth would do the same healing.
If invigorate did what the tooltip says then it would be useful…and it would fit with the rest of r.druid’s kit where you have these singularish powerful hots/spells like cen ward, lifebloom, and overgrowth but can’t use them on everybody. I almost wonder if it was a coding error that they never bothered to fix, that the tooltip description was their intention.
