Let's talk about how idiotically ridiculous the new Mythic raid is

Method right now is using 11 warlocks…lol

#classbalance

Yea but in Mythic progression the World first race is typically under geared by 15 ilvl. in heroic gear.

and even now they don’t really over gear mythic, they are adequately geared.

So over gearing really is only a factor for Mythic geared players trying to out gear heroic or heroic doing it to normal.

I don’t think over gearing is really an issue for mythic raiders since that usually comes down to skill rather than gear.

Yeah not an issue but seeing that they couldn’t ‘‘get more gear’’ which seems to always be the go to, this time around it was poor encounter design from a tuning perspective (numbers).

But it’s one thing cool to see that people can’t just go get more gear and really rely on skill only.

That said this mid-tier I’m not using as an example since it was in fact poorly tuned.

Maybe I’m rambling but just I get the impression some people rely on more gear to beat something when it’d be BETTER design IMHO which is difficult but hypothetically speaking, beating an end boss should have you at cap ilvl like it did now but needing to figure the boss out to ultimately down it.

Again though, this fight was numerically done on the more impossible side that a lot of Guilds will have a big issue doing if they can get past the first boss. Exorsus and others have said it feels really bad wiping 700+ then see it nerfed to the ground a few weeks later.

Guess finding that sweet spot is difficult for the Blizz team.

The whole raid is pretty terrible, even when we move to the next expansion there will be no point to come back to farm it. Terrible raids design, terrible rewards. Atleast we still have 1 good raid this expansion.

Class stacking was always going to happen in this raid.

I don’t think it’s poorly designed but it was simply unavoidable, the difference from this mid-tier raid vs new tier is that the top players already have multiple characters geared-up and ready to go so they can just choose what’s best for the fight, so whatever spec turns out to be good for the fight it’s going to be stacked.

The bosses will ofc be nerfed to a point where less hardcore guilds can beat them with a sub-optimal comp but if it had been that way from the start then it would have been cleared in a day or less.

The power gain is coming in about a month and a half (most likely) when 8.2 hits and we get the insanely powerful essences.

So now that the world first kill only had 4 warlocks and 2 spriests, are we still freaking out?

Forums always freak out, it’s their M/O, dear Goblin!
