Alliance players who hate horse mounts.
Alliance yuppies who wanted something they couldn't have. To my recall, it began with shamans (used to be horde only) I think they got bent out of shape when horde got paladins to balance the field. So basically they're of the mind the alliance should get whatever they want, and the horde should get nothing.
Probably those people who were never taught proper psychosomatic distress tolerance in school and react to everything emotionally. Or it was the Goblins.
Always blame the Goblins. ♥

There are a lot of rumors. But there are also a lot of facts. Like...
The fact that Blizzard went out of their way to insult Alliance players at Blizzcon.
The fact that Blizzard paid a performer to scream homophobic slurs at Alliance players at Blizzcon.
The fact that Blizzard gave the Horde an extra questline because some of them might have been unhappy with their choices.
The fact that Blizzard changed the Darkshore scenario so that Nathanos wouldn't have to lose (though this is more on his lead writer intervening, I heard).
These aren't slams on Horde players. They should get nice things and a story they're happy with.
"Horde bias" isn't an accusation that the Horde should give up their benefits and entitlements. It's just a statement that Alliance players pay just as much, so should get equal consideration and care put toward their happiness.

I wonder if it started in Vanilla, you know, the time when Alliance had major story development with the whole ordeal with Onyxia, magnificent cities given to them in the form of Ironforge and Stormwind, leveling areas connected in a somehow logical manner, and better racials... while Horde had plain looking cities, no story development whatsoever, a disjointed mess of leveling area that encompassed a 20+ level bracket while the other option was crossing Alliance territory on foot, and racials that were literally the laughing stock of the community.
But I guess Horde had shamans and despite all odds, did better in PvP and PvE regardless and so, instead of accepting things and doing something about it they went for an easy scapegoat?

Don't forget not finishing Alliance Cata content because they put Horde first and spent too much time on it, making Alliance look incompetent in their own questing, cutting out anything that'd make Varian have earned "High King" for more Horde story, letting Horde be the controller of the story for two expansions, the robot cat fiasco, the finger wagging and pointless threat that was supposed to be the "Alliance fist pump moment" in SoO, letting Horde have one more race/class combo from Cata until Legion, letting Horde have a bunch of strong racials and all the dps racials until BfA, designing dungeons in such a way that the changed blood elf racial is still stronger than anything the base Alliance races have, and never allowing the Alliance to have an actual win against the Horde.

Started around Cataclysm when devs delivered half the expac for the Alliance.
Alliance was better in pve during vanilla. Dwarf priests and all.

Or just the plain fact that right now the Alliance's sole reason for existing in the narrative is to be the side player for the Horde's storyline.
I thought that after the Horde got its very own 6 minute cinematic about Saurfang, we'd get a super cool 6 minute cinematic about Tyrande.....Nope 2 and half minutes and it's actually still about Saurfang and the Horde, just this time Anduin and Genn are there.
The current writers and developers do not like the Alliance. Because they don't like Alliance they give them less content, less development and laugh at us.
At this point I'm surprised people still aren't seeing it.

Hey, I did not play during vanilla, this is what I heard, the only thing I truly experienced was the disjointed leveling as a Horde player and then if that was the case, it makes even less sense that such a rumor would start then, but I know that when I started checking the forums, it seemed like a common go to excuse.11/05/2018 05:08 PMPosted by RardAlliance was better in pve during vanilla.
