What do you guys think about hair like eyebrows clipping through armor?
Recently made a blood elf for the first time in a loooooong time and was surprised by how many helms are ruined by those antennae coming out of their brow.
Horns I can understand clipping, it looks weird to just remove part of someone’s skull to fit in a helmet.
Eyebrows though? I can fit my long lush hair into a helm, but my eyebrows are like, “NOPE.”
Apparently elf eyebrows are made of adamantium or something.
I agree, any helm that should/could block them…well should. Leaving those bad boys free to flap in the wind on open face helms.
They are secondary sensory antennas for your benefit! Shhhhh don’t tell anyone!
Eyebrows clip because they are part of the face, not the facial hair like male Night Elves. They would have to separate them from the face.
Well when elves can rip the helm of domination apart with bare hands, why not have lightsaber eyebrows?
You can’t get good reception without the antennas sticking out. It’s a necessary evil.
I think that might just be the windrunner sisters in general, as I recall Alleria man handling a boulder with her crazy Orc man strength was what endeared her to Turalyon the first time he saw her. or maybe all Elves male and female just have super-human proportional strength, considering gnome strength exists I guess anything is possible 
?

TBH, I wouldn’t have noticed. I’m used to seeing dwarven beards clipping through helms that eyebrows are kind of trivial, but I get it, it’s your character you’re looking at.
And if they made it say, like hair, where it just went away when you put on any sort of hat, you’d just lose your entire eyebrow every time you wore a hood. Which would be unsettling.
Ears are bad too.
I’m relieved to see that it’s not just me. It’s hard to look past the eyebrows after being away from playing an elf for so long.

My big, pink pigtails don’t stick out. So it is obvious they can make things separate.
I don’t think they would have to disappear when you wore a hood, for the same reason that if I wear just a “crown”/“headband” thing my pink pigtails still show. They would just have to make elf eyebrows behave the same.
