No matter what you try to “add” to Classic, a portion of the player base will end up hating it, calling it the “Path to Retail”, whatever.
No, you’ll get TBC Classic and you’ll like it.

I think Classic+ is a great idea, and very possibly inevitable to be honest.

Someone on the overwatch forum told me last month 3-2-1 was never going to happen. This week blizz put 3-2-1 on the ptr. I bumped the month old thread with his quote, just to laugh. Same thing is going to happen to you lol.
Worst thing that happened to the game. Completely killed world PvP, and made zones feel empty.

Good. What you have in your head is not what I think Classic + is. Nor is it what anyone else on this forum or even playing WoW or even the Devs think it is.
Why on AZEROTH would they take an ESTABLISHED STORYLINE, flush it, and write ALL NEW MATERIAL, thereby going two COMPLETELY different directions with their flagship product?
TBC is coming next.

Only difference is, you’re separating the player base, then leaving it up to actiblizz to Improve/ expand upon classic wow. Good luck with that one, my friend. Classic+ is a really bad joke that needs to go away.

First off wide scale WPVP was already done in before TBC by BG’s
Localized WPVP had a lot of activity in TBC though, Hallas, the tower captures etc. And there was still plenty of gankage in questing areas.
Flying did not even happen until you were near max level, and for many people, due to cost, not until after max level.
Until then, we all hoofed it.
Not sure what realm you played on, but i dont remember seeing any of outlands empty.
They already did that, and called it TBC, and had a massive subscription increase
Those of you saying Classic + ='s TBC are just plain trolling or really have no imaginative cell bouncing around their brain.
There is a whole reddit section for people not interested in TBC, but would like to see some “spice” added to WoW classic.
Who says Blizz has to follow retail? Why would they do that? They have an opportunity to add new content (NOT TBC), before entertaining the idea of creating a TBC classic.

It absolutely was not. I was ganking all day every day in classic, before BC hit, while there were bgs. I spent all day in duskwood, and hillsbrad. WPvP was everywhere, just like it is now with BGs. I don’t know what server you’re on, but I play on herod/faerlina. WPvP everywhere. But this WPvP dies when you release outland, because it spreads out the player base too much, making areas have less people. So nobody is in StV/hillsbrad anymore. And who cares about the PvP in outland. You kill someone, they res and just fly away. Dying doesn’t even matter.
If someone kills me in retail it doesn’t even matter. I res in 3 seconds, and fly away. Doesn’t mean anything. In classic when you die, it means something. You don’t fly away, the world is dangerous.
I suppose I don’t care about Classic+ personally, because I think BC was better than Vanilla.
If they decide to add more content to Vanilla, and also release BC servers, I’d likely drop Classic for Classic BC, as Arenas are the best form of PvP in WoW, by an incredibly large margin (imo).
Oh, I agree… BC was the golden years for me. However, I’m just trying to state that there is a vast population out there that wants to see additions to Vanilla before seeing (or instead of) TBC.

Possibly. I sure don’t claim to have access to such data, but certainly some people have expressed such a desire on the forums.
TBC is by far the better route to go than Classic+ would be.

There’s no correlation between the two.
No B-Net. Gotta launch WoW through the Game Icon. Original Server Caps. No Layers. No Cross-realm BGs. No timed BGs. No Paid Server Transfers. Everything is out, none of this phasing nonsense. More than one Normal RP Server, that’s not EST. That’s all I can think of, at this time.
dunno why anyone thinks tbc classic will happen when it’s consistently the least successful xpac when recreated on pservers. (because it sucks)
