Let's stop the emphasis on damaging in order to heal

Dear Devs,

You saw that there were not many healers when we just healed and decided to try the damage in order to heal thing.

We still don’t have that many healers. Therefore, it wasn’t the playstyle, it it the role itself. It’s high pressure. Oh well.

Keep the damage for healers in, of course, but lets not balance around it and please keep specs viable that DON’T damage to heal.

My problem with dps → healing is it almost just makes your damage end up being garbage

Pure healers tend to hit a lot harder when you actually get to dps making it feel a lot more rewarding

…is this a disc priest hate post?

But I like punching and kicking to work up a sweat to heal people as monk.

I mean this is a hard requirement for anything resembling balance. If damage healers got as much damage per global as non-damage healers, there would be zero reason to ever bring a non-damage healer.

Isn’t this only a thing if you are playing as a monk or a discipline priest healer?

I just wanna know why most of my healing comes from spinning crane kick after stomping the ground. Cuz i really feel like i’m missing something in mistweaver but everytime i punch my spinning crane kick button, bam, peoples health bars go up more than if i directly healed them.

This can’t really be how mistweaver plays in m+ right? i have to be doing something wrong right?

Yeah no i like being able to heal by dps’ing on my druid.
