I’ve queued into thug and cdew’s team playing pres boomy/dh (or outlaw) so I’m guessing those for sure. They’re both really strong.

I queued into thug/abrua and their healer playing dh/boomy/pres yesterday, feels really good to fight AWC teams at 2k mmr!

I did as well, though later in the night as the mmr was higher than that. I’m sure they climbed pretty quickly!

We managed to beat them however cdew’s team (playing outlaw) ran all over us. Hpal owlplay isn’t very good at stopping clone spam with no kicks haha.

This would 100% kill any boomy from ever being played ever again. I don’t think you or those who suggest this understand just how reliant we are on that to not die immediately. Clone can be adjusted for sure BUT other changes would need made.

would you take targets in cyclone being able to be healed?

at least with diamond ice and the DH one with the pvp talent have long cd’s and diamond ice DRs on itself within the CD window

I mean, clone DRs itself too. I don’t know why that’s a point but those are also instant. I also shouldn’t have to say this but you can’t compare classes’ abilities in a vacuum.

As far as targets being able to be healed, no I personally wouldn’t want that but I’d absolutely take it over something like a cd. Cloning with hp pause is something that can just as easily hurt you as it can help depending on how it’s used. I don’t think trying hard to make one ability mimic others is the right direction. Just take a second off the duration or something.

Delete rogues and DH from the game, nerf cyclone by extending the range to 40 yards but give it a 12 sec cd that activates WHEN IT LANDS

Changes like this kill specs.

Nerf the specs that boomy plays with that enable them to be like they are, because you have only 1 feasible target to train (the boomy), since DHs & rogues simply don’t die when played with half a brain.

If the 2 comps that boomy can play are nerfed, you can then look at nerfing other things. Granted, frenzied regen prob needs to take a hit again just because of the health pools going up.

Boomy Ele is one of the best worst comps. Basically the smart kid in the special class of comps.

It has no MS, every game is going into PVE dampening and you will always lose to any team with an MS that doesn’t choke on their own spit. Might be a bit easier to play with a dragon, so I can’t speak on that.

I think we might actually see some slightly new comps. Not to mention that people are gonna be hella more eagle-eyed about clones (and I actually think clone will be catching a balance pass soon).
