The guild that downed Ragnaros and Onxyia are a private server guild that had planned this forever.
To everyone who’s like being super negative about this, who else has actually done it? It’s gonna take average players or even above average players a few weeks/months to max out their stuff, collect their tier sets, and do the things they’re looking forward to doing in this game.
Most of retail content is cleared on Mythic difficulty in week 1 and that doesn’t stop people from enjoying the rest of retail patches/expansions.
So, I’m sure I’ll be met with crap on this one, but let’s just get along and enjoy the game for what it is.
Have you seen the kill videos? They aren’t exactly complex fights. At best, prenerf rag would have been a short lived gear check. Most guilds will down this as soon as they have a complete raid group to do it if they’re even remotely competent at their 1-2 button rotations.
That’s true, I’m sure there is some sort of internal discussion going on, but MC was pretty stupid easy at 1.12. Nobody else is killing them yet, and I’m sure it’ll take people a while. shrug I probably shouldn’t have posted anything. Just frustrating seeing so many people fight.
