What’s your favorite zone in the game? Lore wise, aesthetic wise, any reason.
Me personally, Jade Forest, Timeless Isle, and Ny’alotha. All 3 are tied for first place.
Storm Peaks
I say grizzly hill just beautiful and the music is great .
Krasarang, especially the beaches. Actually all three of those early Pandaria zones are just so aesthetically perfect.
Stormsong
I miss old Westfall. Yeah, it was a simpler zone with simpler tech, but it was still pretty great. The giant cyclone in the middle just ruins it for me.
Krasang Wilds is very awesome!!!
The Storm Peaks music kinda weirds me out. Same with Drustvar
Ashenvale and Teldrassil, I love purple forests.
Suramar City is really nice too.
And Uldum, particularly the Tolvir city areas, are really cool.
Azure Span is nice, and Grizzly Hills/Howling Fjord ofc.
Gilneas and Duskwood are whither resides my heart, tho.
Drustvar 100%
Krasarang was ruined for me because, as Horde player, you’re following Anduin around and doing whatever he says through the whole leveling experience there.
And then, later in the expansion, Alliance players had literally 1 quest they turned in to Vol’jin and they threw the mother of all tantrums over it.
Well there’s your first issue. Playing horde
My favorite zone is un’goro.
Different, might I ask what you like about it?
I like the dinosaur theme basically.
mmm I’d say Jade forest as well. Probably the most immersive zone in the game.
OG Nagrand. Nothing beats the aesthetic of the floaty islands with the Nether as a background.
When i die irl, i wanna rez in Nagrand.
I still remember my first time through pandaria exploring. Etched into my mind it was that good.
I know it wasn’t super well liked at the time, but I have fond memories of the isle of Quel’Danas. The fights that would break out just outside the sanctuary area. Your server working together to achieve goals that would unlock more quests. The rep there also awards one of my favorite tabard designs.
And if you find yourself riding through green fields (not all of them on the same level), do not fear, for you are in Nagrand!
This was low-key one of my favorite parts of Burning Crusade. They’ve done similar kind of things since then but it never quite matched the original.
