I don’t hate them but I think they copied Kung fu panda , it’s really the dumbest race in the entire game next to undead.
I dunno, personally I think the ‘Kung Fu Panda’ thing is something of a stereotype. If Pandaren had been some other race instead, that connection wouldn’t have gained any traction at all even if everything else about MoP/Pandaria was exactly the same (maybe changing the name of Pandaria to something else, since that’s obviously linked to the race).
I just think they have their culture like any of the other races do, and it got slapped with a stereotype because that film was relevant at the time.

For the better part I’m just not a fan of anthro races. Couldn’t ever get myself to play a tauren even though I’ve thought they were cool since WC3.
Some people have an affinity for certain things and as with everything else some others won’t.

I have a Pandaren Monk, Mage, Death Knight, and Warlock. Back in MoP, I had a Pandaren Rogue which I RP’d as getting killed in SoO. As of SL, she’s now my Death Knight. If we ever get Pandaren Paladins and Druids, I’ll absolutely make those too.

Do people still hate Pandaren? I think they are fine. I wouldn’t ever play one, at least not for free, but they are fine.

I don’t hate them. I do wish there were more “evil” looking customizations for female Pandaren. Same goes for female Worgen though.

You were the one to bring this up, and by the Yikes why is it always people throwing sexualization in everyone’s face? Not everything is sexualized and frankly you just seem to care about taking a group down a peg.

My two gripes with Pandaren:
- The neck seam
- Inability to toggle sandals on/off.
Fix the seam and allow Pandaren the option to be truly barefoot and those are my only complaints with the race’s appearance gone. Otherwise, they’re perfect!
Give them Paladins already.
