I remember being new to the game and not wanting to do dungeons for I thought it too time consuming and the rewards not as good as the quest gear. I still chuckle to that thought today.
My buddy and I farmed the elven ghost in ashenvale for 2 hours for a world drop blue. He won and I wanted one too.

I have a friend who is your opposite who wanted to farm Deadmines way past it being useful until he had every item he could use from it.
Going to be honest, came into this thread expecting something about cold tauren milk.
I’m disappointed.
My good time was getting Sun Eater first try back in BC on my warrior at the time. Super awesome feeling.
I remember my first time exploring the world and it all feeling so big and grand.
Its a shame that feeling can never truly come back.

I think my earliest memory from way back was the idea of entering the Shimmering Flats. It was during classic, in the middle of the night. Which, if you remember back then, meant everything was pitch black but the ground had been white, which painted this really neat picture.

I remember the time not to long ago i paid to move my guild and characters to a low pop realm only to have it merged with 3 other realms and now its a high population. I miss the good ol’ days of like 2 months ago.
My first memory from when i first started playing was going through Ashenvale and getting one-shot by a DK and thinking what the hell just happened lol. It was awesome and i was hooked and have been playing on and off for about ten years now.
my first memory was being on my mage in goldshire, and seeing a warlock ride past on a fiery horse… and saying “when i get big enough, i want THAT horse!”
oh boy, was i disappointed. 
I’ve had a lot of great memories and there are still more to come. I still enjoy roaming Azeroth.
I remember farming the troll mummys with my belf paladin to get those 3 silver for my white chocobo
I did that on my rogue. I really wanted that blackened defias set.
Did the same thing in SM for that set too.
I played frost mage in TBC, that was pretty chill.
But then dks were invented, and mages just couldn’t do a thing vs a dk.
So I switched to dk, if you can’t win vs them become them xd
