Let's be honest wow is cheap entertainment

And I mean that in a good way. Every time I see these overdramatic I quit post you have to laugh a little.

Yes there’s issues with the game and it’s not going to be perfect but nothing is. for those of you that don’t have a family let me tell you something you’re looking at almost $100 by the time you pay for everything for movie night and that’s just one night.

You get an entire month of endless entertainment. so let’s be a little bit grateful for something so entertaining and cheap because it’s rare to come by these days.

What makes me laugh are the people droning on and on about how greedy Blizzard is and at the end of their post they put “I’m going to play FF or ESO now.”

there are people like me who didnt complain but went to play one of those two games anyways too

i dont even know why i can still post my sub already expired o.o can we still post on forums now even without sub?

Now yes you can. I think blizz did mention that this will change but there’s no set date yet.

It’s a bug they have yet to address.

i mean don’t get me wrong i do agree wow is a really cheap and efficient form of entertainment, a movie costs me 20 bucks with popcorn and only lasts like under 3 hours, i get a month of wow for that plus change

the problem is, wow isn’t as good of a form of entertainment as it used to be.
It’s still cheap, but there are alternative gaming options that’s actually appealing now given wow’s current offering.

See, the thing that everyone on these forums forgets is that Blizzard literally asks (or at the very least, asked, [it’s been a long time since I cancelled my sub]) you to go to the forums and explain why you are quitting. That’s why people do it.

And I wouldn’t call them “overdramatic I quit” posts, as the issues that caused them to quit the game were big enough to them, that they ultimately did, in fact, quit the game.

And for some players, they grew up playing WoW. So for them, feeling that the game is in such a bad state now that they have to leave behind their favorite pastime for the past several years, potentially even a decade or more, is a really big deal.

While I agree that it’s just a hobby, I also have spent over three thousand dollars on computers in the last few years so that I could play this. And being on disability, this hobby is taking a huge chunk of my time.

They are not bad games but people saying stuff like final fantasy 14 is doing well when i go look up how active is it barely haveing over 1million players world wide Total population start to laugh because im sure WoW BFA has alot more actives then that.

Most good thing you enjoy in WOW mostly come from the complainer, Pathfinder , Azerite Knowledge, Azerite system remake and Azerite Vendor for example.

What i never understand is you Blizzard shill trying really hard to silence people that complain about this game, what exactly do you gain from this? Green text?

WoW is insanely cheep in terms of monetary cost per hour played, no denying that. I just can’t help the nagging feeling there’s something more productive I should be doing with my life.

What…does that have to do with anything?

I don’t laugh because i understand people have been playing this game for over 10+ years.

I understand its a game but it is way deeper within our hearts than any other game really out there. People like myself, have been playing wow for 1/2 our lifes and are very passionate.

I agree with you and understand what your saying, I just also understand the frustration when it comes to wow and how that can be elevated due to the player having an account for over 10 years.

I myself make posts sometimes that are over-dramatic ect and make myself look foolish but hey, i guess it happens.

Plenty-He said he wasn’t playing; the game was garbage, I proved he was in fact playing. Pretty simple, not sure what you missed there.

I have friends that play and I look at it like this, it’s cheaper than shelling out for other games over and over that I’ll beat once and then most likely never touch again for $60, when I can spend $14 and play for a month, or not pay at all and farm up gold. It’s a time waster and a thing I use to unwind after work.

well that’s kinda like saying ryzen cpus aren’t worth investing in because intel has a significantly larger marketshare.

yea wow has way more sub count than any other sub based mmo out there, but all that means is we never have to worry about wow being dead. That doesn’t mean other smaller titles can’t slowly creep up as a competitor and offer products that are actually good or even better than current wow

ffxiv player base is still growing while i think there is no denying that wow’s user base is not. Granted wow is like a titan that can bleed indefinitely from a wound and still be massive compared to other games, but right now we aren’t trying to compare which game has a larger player base, we are simply looking at, buck for buck, which game offers better value.
As of right now, WoW/BfA does not offer best bang for your buck

I call BS…

I been playing final fantasy 14 i barely see anybody so i highly doubt that playing it as a 2nd hand mmo for my real life brother joining it soon only reason im even bothering with it lol. Then again hes a final fantasy freak of nature.

i am not sure what you mean by barely see anybody though, i can make a level one character in limsa lominsa and the town is fairly well populated. I do see people leveling out in the fields too, i mean for sure i don’t see as many people in out on the map but i also leveled through outland/northrend without seeing more than 2 other players on multiple characters, so i think that’s about the same
